We have the below vacancy available in our Organisation

The G Band Senior Specialist Chatbot position is based within the Commercial Business Unit

The role of the Senior Specialist Chatbot is to be responsible for the improvement and optimisation of Vodacoms Chatbot TOBi To be the custodian of the experience across multiple channels

Key accountabilities

Chatbot technologies

Analyse business requirements and convert into actionable technical specifications
Ability to train Bot on utterances, intents and entities Proven ability to enhance confidence levels of intents
Ability to design conversational flows with advanced contextual awareness
Train and optimise cognitive AI structure using NLP (Natural Language Programming)
Experience in Speech to text and text to Speech technology
At least two years extensive experience in natural language programming in IBM Watson or Microsoft LUIS
Continuous Improvement

Ability to formulate and recommend process enhancements to ensure continues development, integration and deployment of AI
Proven experience in a UX or CXX, or continuous process improvement environment

Analyse, fix and test bugs in conversational flows, comprehension of utterances

Testing and optimisation

End to end testing of Chatbot journeys
Customer feedback and optimisation
Experience in software development or system development life-cycles
People Management

Be able to lead a team of 2-5 designers to achieve key KPIs
Proven history of leading and managing a team
Coaching and mentoring junior member of staff
Comfortable engaging with senior management and Exco members
Key Performance indicators

Number of calls deflected

Containment rate PERCENT

Net Promotor Score (NPS)

The ideal candidate for this role will have

Matric / Grade 12 essential is essential

3 year degree/diploma is essential (pref BSc)

5 years relevant job-related experience

Proven record of being a people leader for at least 2 years

Process professional, UX or Service Design certification recommended


Natural Language Processing (NLP) Programming

Conversational UX/UI

Customer centric Design

Analytical thinking

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base location for this role is Century City, Cape Town
