NVIDIA Enterprise virtual GPUs Solutions Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for a world-class engineer to join the GRID team You will work closely with NVIDIA team members and external software partners in the areas GRID hardware and software The candidate must have knowledge of and experience with virtualization, excellent problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and be able to work on multiple projects and tasks You will be doing direct customer support for our most important enterprise customers We are looking for an experienced engineer to triage customer software / hardware issues, resolve customer problems and maintain great customer relationships

This team supports some of NVIDIAs most groundbreaking technology, like NVIDIA GRID - the industrys most advanced technology for sharing virtual GPUs (vGPUs) across multiple virtual desktop and applications instances

To do an extraordinary job in this role, we will be looking for a dynamic engineer with experience and skill in virtual systems (VMware, CITRIX, Hyper-V, KVM), Linux and Windows debugging and trouble shooting skills (you will be a creative problem solver)

and knowledge of large enterprise server deployments We are also looking for someone who has superb interpersonal and communication skills, given you will be working closely with our customers and engineers to understand, explain and resolve issues, and collaborate with the team to build scalable software Does this type of role intrigue you If it does, we would love to hear from you!

What youll be doing

Provide direct support to our NVIDIA Enterprise customers and work to answer questions, reproduce, resolve, or escalate customer issues
Work with 3rd Party Partner (Citrix, VMware, etc) Level 4 support organizations
Track, file new bugs and reproduce customer issues
Take ownership and drive customer issues from inception to resolution
Document customer interactions and better enhance our knowledge base
Actively work with customers and develop internal relationships to bring to bear NVIDIAs internal expertise
Participate in the creation, maintenance and versioning of documentation related to enterprise support processes, procedures and associated guidelines
Administer CRM systems and provide metrics and reports in order to better develop close relationships with dedicated customer contacts and learn their requirements and business needs
Bring independent analysis, communication and problem-solving to customer escalations

What we need to see

Minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or the equivalent
Youll bring at least 8 years software development experience, ideally with some customer facing
Youd have cultivated a good understanding of Linux, and Windows OSs
Deep understanding and experience with virtual systems (for example VMware, KVM, or Citrix)
Professional-level communication skills, including ability to adjust communication to technical level of audience, and stay calm and focused in negative situations
Excellent follow-up and organizational skills, with a passion or love for solving problems
Some level of scripting or other programming skills (c/c , python)
