Process Overview

Global Banking and Markets Technology group (GBAMT) provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Banking and Markets businesses including Treasury, Trade Finance, Credit, Payments, Transaction Banking, Equities Trading, Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products In addition, GBAMT also provides technology solutions across several horizontal functions including Sales, CRM, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client services for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses

GBAMT is engaged in over 800 applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support GBAMTs type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies GBAMT India team is doing extensive work in several regulatory, strategic and initiatives programs GBAMT has also established a strong partnership with the GBAM operations team in India to deliver automation and functional enhancements to the applications that they are using

The individual will be responsible for daily Production Support functions for Portals and Channels applications They will work on and ensure that all incidents related to the supported applications are resolved in a timely manner The resource will ensure functioning of the production environment with the view to maintain stability and control


Production support of the regional or branch applications in Asia region
Manages support deliverables, communicate risks, work in an integrated team and have a comfort level working with a geographically dispersed team
Supports development teams in initiatives projects and other projects as required
Manages the implementation of multiple portfolios/initiatives and application support items into production
Provides overall coverage and control on changes being implemented into the environment, prioritise their urgency, criticality, group changes in order of relevance, assess inter-dependences between changes, determine and eliminate conflicts, assess risk and determine risk mitigating plans
Provides late support when necessary, be flexible and may work in weekends as required for support
Creates implementation plans and release notes
Works on Problem tickets, Report Requests, Research requests and TOM (risk) deliverables as and when required
Defines, implements and executes release strategy improvements to meet the demands for ability to deliver far higher volume of change to the platform with no reduction in stability objectives
Manages multiple conflicting business / technology priorities


Education BE / B Tech/ME /M Tech/BSc/MSc/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Certifications, If Any Not Mandatory

Experience Range 2 4 years

Mandatory skills

Experience in Java/J2EE Spring, Hibernate, Web
Experience supporting Windows based Java/NET applications
UNIX, Shell Scripts
Blade Logic, Autosys
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential; must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible and results driven
Experience in resolving complex issues involving multiple groups and liaise with key business stakeholders
Analytical skills with a natural ability to research and resolve complex systems, applications and user issues
Knowledge of SDLC and experience in production support
