Job Description:



  • As part of Sustaining Team, the employee will be responsible for improving the features, quality and overall stability of the product He/ She will be developing solutions to address the customer production issues The job profile requires writing quality code, troubleshooting customer use cases, debugging & fixing complex problems He/ She will work closely with the customer support team, core development, QA team, Services team and communicate directly with customers as required This position is highly visible & customer facing thus requires being highly responsible, daring to explore new territory, learn-adapt to new language/functionality, quick context switching and stretching at times to have a happy customer towards end The person should be optimistic and should have high networking capabilities He/ She can work under guidance, apply judgments under defined policies-processes and continue enhancing domain/technical skills

  • BE/MCA with 5+ years of software development/sustaining experience with Java/J2EE

  • Experience in developing/maintaining applications across different tiers - Web UI, business logic, persistence, integrations/connectivity

  • Having experience in JSF, Ext-JS, AJAX, JavaBeans, Bean Shell and other J2EE technologies/framework

  • Having experience with Databases (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, Sybase etc)

  • Knowledge of Web Service architecture SOAP, REST, SAML, SPML etc desired

  • Knowledge of application servers - Tomcat, JBOSS, Web logic, Web Sphere

  • Should able to mentor junior team members

  • Should able to handle multiple task efficiently and effectively

  • Good written and verbal communications skills- Experience directly interfacing customers/support team and work under pressure for extended periods to manage escalations

  • Should have good analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skills

  • Flexible to adjust working schedule when necessary to communicate and work with SailPoint US team/Services/Support or even customers


Nice to have knowledge and experience


  • Knowledge of Identity Management solutions/domain

  • Experience working in Product-based organizations

  • Familiarity working with security applications and experience on supporting/ deployment will be helpful

  • Knowledge of Unix based systems (Aix, Solaris, Linux)

  • Knowledge of Cloud based applications(eg Salesforce, workday etc)
