The portfolio management and trading (PMT) group within the Analytics SBU is comprised of existing FactSet solutions and those acquired via Portware and Cymba, and focuses on workflows that are specific and unique to the front office Serving portfolio managers and traders, PMT solutions provide a unique combination of content, analytics, and order and execution management systems to transform the way investment firms analyze, communicate, and execute investment ideas
The Cymba/OMS engineering team requires a C Software Engineer to join the team and participate in the development of functional enhancements to the Order Management and Compliance solution, and participate in the maintenance and support of the solution
The Order Management and Compliance solution is a multi-asset Buy-side providing Decision Support, Trading and Compliance software solutions to Investment Managers, Asset Managers, Multi Managers, Pension Funds, Wealth Managers, Broker Dealers and Hedge Funds
Technically the solution is developed using C and NET technologies for Microsoft Windows operating systems Both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle are supported as the Relational Database Platform

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in the development of functional enhancements to the Order Management and Compliance solution, and participate in the maintenance and support of the solution
Maintain and resolve issues in existing components
Provide regular project status updates to team Lead
Communicate with PMT QA team to prioritize and resolve issues

Mandatory skills-

Strong C development 5-10 years
Multithread programming 5-10 years
Graphical User Interface development 3-5 years
Windows development Microsoft Visual Studio 5-10 years
Relational Database experience SQL MS SQL Server or Oracle 3-5 years
Object Oriented Design 5-10 years
Relational Database theory

Financial industry experience Specifically, Portfolio and Trading systems
FIX Protocol experience 40, 41 42, 44 and/or 50
