About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to contribute to automation-focused End-to-End testing within Akamais Enterprise division Working cross functionally with Enterprise Quality Engineering, Development, Product Management and other teams, the Senior QA Engineer will help to build, guide and direct the efforts of their SQA team to broadly and comprehensively validate the Security/Networking products developed within Akamais Enterprise division

About the Team

Akamai Enterprise Engineering team in India works in close collaboration with other development teams in the Business Unit across USA, Scotland and Israel, developing full stack Cloud Networking and Security Products

The India team owns the development of host of Networking solutions including Security Platform, Large file scanning, Sandboxing, VM based cloud connector solution The India team is actively involved in defining architecture, design and end-to-end development of Cloud Security solutions

Responsibilities

Own the complete responsibility of designing test topology, building and maintaining test network
Understand customer use cases and come up with Test Plan for the distributed system
Design the test strategy/topology for exclusive coverage, bring up the test setup, Own End-to-End testing of the security products built by the Enterprise Team
Understand various sub-systems of Akamai Enterprise Network and Perform End To End Integration Testing both Manually and in an automated way
Collaborate with Development, Product Management and DevQA teams across the Enterprise division to champion, adopt and improve Quality Engineering process and tools

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, Electronics or related discipline
6-8 years of experience in Enterprise Security/Networking product testing/Distributed System testing and automation
Ability to perform End-to-End testing/debugging for a cloud security product a distributed system
At least 3 years of experience in any distributed systems End-to-End testing
Well-rounded back ground in testing Enterprise Security Products
Deep understanding of HTTP,SSL-TLS capabilities and testing tools
Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, common attack vectors and how to resolve them
Well-rounded background in host, network and application security
3 Years of Experience with Python and any Python based Test Framework is a must Knowledge in any other programming languages is an added advantage
Knowledge on HTTP/HTTPS traffic generator tools (Linux/windows) based is must
Must have good working knowledge in Jenkins, Git
Knowledge in virtualization tools
