About the group (SD) All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers

Org Structure Where is this position placed in the organization Schneider Digital is segregated into various verticals and one of the vertical is Enterprise Systems, this vertical is further classified into Domains This individual contributor role is part of the Finance Domain

CEO->Chief Digital Officer -> CIO ->Finance Domain Director ->Program Manager -> Senior Project Manager

About the role There are various Business as well as Digital transformation initiatives in the Finance Domain for making it agile as well as best in class This roles pivotal responsibility would be to lead one of the largest global initiative, taking up complete end-to-end ownership of Project Management, right from Business Requirement delivering the committed ROI

Qualifications & Certifications

1 Engineering Graduate or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Required Skills (Must have) along with necessary industry experience

General

1 Total experience of 14-16 years, with excellent communication and coordination skills

2 Self-motivated, positive attitude and ability to inject optimism

3 Ability to challenge status quo and lead discussions in the right direction

4 Experience of working in a highly matrixed organization

5 Ability to collaborate with various teams locally and globally

6 Ability to influence without authority

7 Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly

8 Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate the best things for the organization

9 Experience in managing partners, consultants and suppliers

10 Well versed in Finance aspects that are required for a PM

11 Crisis, conflict, issues management skills

12 Eye for detail as well as understanding of the big picture

13 Ability to work with ambiguous information

14 Foresight and ability to plan with little or no information

Functional

1 Should have managed Projects in Finance Domain (transactional accounting)

2 Experience in leading large cross functional/domain Project teams

3 Go-to-person for all Project related information

4 Coordinating the overall governance for the project

5 Define and implement operating rhythm

6 Capture and monitor all key metrics as required by the Schneider Electrics Customer Service and Quality teams

7 Experience in managing challenging stakeholders

8 Ability to validate change requests

9 Experience in Change management/Business Transformation

Technical/Project Management

1 End-to-End Project Management experience in at least two projects of Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML) delivering at least 10-15 process automations

2 Hands on extensive experience in preparing detailed Project Schedules using standard tools like Microsoft Project Planner (MPP)

3 Experience in deploying large product/platform

4 Extensive experience in Budget and Forecast planning, tracking actual Costs

5 Should have delivered at least five large projects from end-to-end project management aspect

6 Experience in managing Global Projects spanning at least 20-30 countries

7 Good knowledge of SDLC and various Software development frameworks

8 Should have managed budgets of over at least 2 MEUR

9 Experience in managing multi-year long projects

10 Ability to churn and present numbers in different dimensions as per the need

11 Expertise in getting into lowest level of details and planning

12 Prepare/validate Statement of Work for suppliers

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1 Project planning and tracking of activities/tasks

2 Escalate and identify other routes where progress is stuck

3 Tracking and following up the action items at a project level

4 Ensure all requests are addressed in a timely manner with optimal solution

5 Simplify use every opportunity to simplify to the maximum extent possible and go the extra mile in doing so

6 Collaborate with internal teams to address Business needs

7 Assume personal responsibility for achieving defined outcomes

8 Effectively plan & organize work to deliver consistent results

9 Ensure regular and optimal communication with all stakeholders

10 Stake Holder Management

11 Budgeting and forecasting for the year and tracking expenses regularly

12 Manage Escalations, ensuring nothing goes to the next level

Desired Skills (Nice to have in addition to the Required Skills)

1 Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture

2 Familiar with latest Digital Trends in Finance & Accounting

3 Delivered projects in Finance Shared Service environments

Shift Timings

This is a Global Project spanning several countries in various time zone Depending on the need the requirement would be to work in different time zones including US time zones
