Job Description:

Occasionally provides on the job training to other team members

To support the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures

May involve liaising with internal, external and third party suppliers

To input to cost/timescales solutions/options and manage expectations as appropriate with customer or business unit/LoB teams

To personally participate in and contribute to BT wide professional community activities where applicable eg knowledge sharing, best practice within BT and external industry

To use the relevant BT wide professional community framework to raise their skills and those of their team to the recommended PC standards

Contribute up to date detailed technology know-how to projects

Would generally act under supervision but may be required, Out Of Hours, to work in isolation and take professional decisions to restore critical BT business functionality

Provides accurate completion and delivery of supervised work

Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance

Uses discretion in identifying and resolving complex problems and assignments

Specific instruction is usually given and work is reviewed at frequent milestones

Qualifications

Typically engineering/science degree or has served a technical apprenticeship and obtained NVQ and further education technical qualifications (ie HND)

May have obtained some appropriate recognised current accreditation to an external professional body and/or industry standard

Demonstrates competence in own area and may still be acquiring higher level skill

Typically works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge

Should have hands on experience working on at least 4 - 5 Contact centre products as mentioned below

Technical Skills

CISCO

GENESYS

o UCCE 8x, 9x or 10x platform

o UCCE ICM Scripting and design understanding

o CVP / Self Service design and implementation exposure

o Reporting CUIC, WebView and related data modelling, configuration architecture

o CUCM 9x and above for platform understanding and configuration related to Contact Center requirement

o CUC 9x (Cisco Unity Connection) and above

o Cisco Voice Gateways and CUBE experience would be favourable

o Cisco OCC /HCS (One Cloud Cisco/ Hosted Collaboration Systems),

o Understanding of Dial Plan and Voice protocols H323, MGCP, SIP, RTP, SRTP etc

o Jabber, Auto Attendant, UCCX etc

o Should have exposure to Call Routing/Strategy Capabilities, CTI, and Peripheral GW Server operations

o Should be having experience on Cisco Outbound Option ( Dialer Solution)

o Egain, ie Multimedia exposure would be added advantage

o RDBMS (SQL Server and Oracle ) Exposure

o Excellent troubleshooting skills

o Voice Logger, Wall board or any 3rdparty BI solution knowledge would also be preferred in selected candidates

o Knowledge regarding 3rd party applications or integrations would be an added advantage

o Working knowledge of IP PBX, Voice processing, DNS, data collection, monitoring, storage, CTI toolkits/ APIs

o Should possess concrete implementation / configuration and testing experience on all or any 2 of the following CIM, SIP, Routing GVP, WFM, MIS PULSE and CCA/Crystal/BO, e-Services, WDE, GAD, InfoMart, Outbound and Interaction Workspace (iWS), iWD

o Should have exposure to Call Routing/Strategy Capabilities, CTI, and T-Server operations

o Should possess excellent SIP/VoIP understanding

o eServices Multimedia exposure would be added advantage

o Voice Logger, Wall board or any 3rdparty BI solution knowledge would also be preferred in selected candidates

o Knowledge regarding 3rd party applications or integrations would be an added advantage

o Working knowledge of IP PBX, Voice processing, DNS, data collection, monitoring, storage, CTI toolkits/ APIs
