Position Title Senior QA Consultant

Summary of Position The Senior QA Consultant will work as part of a global consulting services team to

implement and support Oracles products and services to the health care industry This role will be based at Oracle

Solution Services India Ltd Hyderabad

Responsibilities

The Senior QA Consultant will be a senior member of testing Trial development and Integrations The

SQA will work as a mentor for QA Consultants and QA Consultants and will also be involved in estimating the

testing time for the projects Testing the complex projects can be given to the team mainly consisting of SQA SQA

will also shadow Principal QA Consultant in some aspects of team leadership in the preparation of taking this

responsibility at the next level In the absence of PQA in a project SQA will assume the responsibilities of the PQA

Specific tasks include

Testing of Trial builds, Integrations and Custom projects

Delivering services using consulting best practices and SDLC

Testing applications and/or application interfaces

Contributing to project design phase

Estimating and scoping testing phases

Development and delivery of Training on Phase Forward products

Releasing and handing over the projects from QA to UAT/Production

Systems configuration and Deployment

Mentoring

Senior QA Consultants will be measured on their ability to write and execute the test steps effectively and scope

internal and external projects, to meet customer satisfaction goals, and to meet utilization They will also be

measured on their ability to provide mentorship to other associate QA Consultants in the team

Education and Experience Required

Minimum 4 years experience as a tester preferably with a professional services firm

Bachelors Degree in CS/IT/EE or MCA or related equivalent professional qualification

Knowledge of Selenium Automation

Experience in RPA automation would be an added advantage

Good experience with testing applications/application interfaces, database testing (Oracle,

SQL*Server), Multiple platforms (UNIX, NT/2000/XP),

Good to have knowledge of Multiple Programming Languages ( C , ASPnet , VBnet, JAVA, C#,

SOAP,XML , web services technologies, ReportNet, PL/SQL) and Net

Framework knowledge

Knowledge of Test Process automation preferably OATS

The ability to propose and implement integration testing methods

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Experience of customer interaction

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Position Title of Supervisor Managing Principal Consultant / Principal QA Consultant

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients Ability to travel as needed
