Position Purpose & Summary

This role is responsible for global support and maintenance of SAP Solution Manager application Candidate for this position is expected to have advanced knowledge on all functions of SAP solution manager and should have done at least 3 end to end implementations in change management and monitoring He/She should be able to partner effectively with functional and technical teams across regions for resolving escalated urgent/complex issues to ensure business continuity for Cargills Enterprise Solution Manager application Prioritize and manage multiple operational delivery priorities, demands and requests

Principal Accountabilities

This position must understand the SAP technical architecture, high level functional process and customer requirements to perform this role

Work with SAP Solution Manager stakeholders to assess service deliveries for addressing any supportability issues

Should own and implement lifecycle management (Version or SP upgrades) of solution manager

Should have thorough knowledge and understanding of and ability to consult on Change Request Management (ChaRM)in a complex, changing landscape including transport management, retrofit, sequencing conflicts, cross system object locks (CSOL), and retrofits/downgrade protection (DGP)

Design, implement , test and support end to end Technical Monitoring, Business Process Monitoring, Data Volume Management, Solution documentation, User experience monitoring, Data consistency management functionalities in Solution Manager

Should be able to support integration of SAP solution manager with other systems and tools and resolve any interfacing errors

Cooperate with support and project management teams on technical feasibility and considerations and ensure supportable solution in solution manager can be deployed

Should have advanced knowledge and understanding on Focused Solutions, specifically Focused Insights

Should be able to provide strategic directions and approach for successful Solution Manager Deployment/implementation

This position will ensure adherence and adoption of best practices for technical cutovers while leading through influence and collaboration to direct work across multiple technical teams Additionally, they must be able to clearly communicate status, issues, and risks to various levels of the organization

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

Able to work on shift to cover support users in other countries

Educated to a degree level in information technology

Excellent communication and influencing skills

Good customer liaison skills across all organization levels

Work well under pressure Deliver solutions fast, but to quality and in a compliant way

8 years of experience with SAP Solution Manager

Be experienced operating with SAP functional or technical modules

Experience with SAP Basis administration and database management

Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills

Good time management skills, ability to multitask to manage conflicting requirements

Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English

Ability to work with teams from different cultures and in different time zones in a global, virtual environment

Coordination, consulting, problem management and analysis skills

Attention to detail, with critical mind set to ensure services are run effectively and in compliance with controls and SLA, ensuring mitigation of risks and impact on business activities

Any certification in SAP solution manager is an added advantage
