Lenovo, partnering with SAP, has developed cutting edge data management and governance solutions that will grow the North America market Our new combined solution with Lenovo and SAP will help customers take advantage of their varied internal data lakes and secondary data sources to solve major business problems, expand market reach and improve operational efficiencies The Lenovo NA Software and Solutions Sales Team is a team of subject matter expert sellers with diverse sales skills around the management and governance of data to affect business outcomes This expertise is employed broadly in driving next generation data intelligence to assist in artificial intelligence and big data applications
In this position, the candidate will be leading the technical sales process for SAP Data Hub solutions working with Lenovo, SAP, and other partner account teams in identifying leads and opportunities for SAP Data Hub In this role, you will be responsible for developing a business plan with your team and extended team to meet and exceed assigned quota Excellent consultative selling, business and data management selling, presentation, business management and communication skills are necessary This position will be assigned to specific regions as part of Lenovos North American geography The successful candidate will work with Lenovos and SAPs vast partner communities in the designated territory The ideal candidate for this role will
Exhibit leadership capabilities in driving Data Management software sales and providing a consultative approach to Data design with clients
Demonstrate partnering experience that can be applied to collaboration with the Lenovo, SAP, and partner sales communities in North America
Activate new sales routes, partners, account teams and customers with regard to SAP Data Hub
Deliver on sales and business commitments and effectively report progress back to the business on a weekly basis
Demonstrate experience in establishing new relationships across customer roles and persuading the ecosystem of internal and external sales resources
Possess a deep knowledge of the Data Management and Data Science marketplace and can articulate the market dynamics in support of the benefits of Lenovo- based SAP solutions
Create and articulate Lenovo value-add and advantages relative to competitor-delivered SAP offerings
Possess in-depth knowledge and mastery of key elements of the selling process (ie, strategic sales planning, extended resource engagement, etc)
Have extensive B2B experience holding C-suite level discussions with large enterprise customers, complex selling cycle technology adopters, Fortune 500 companies, and equivalently-sized Public Sector organizations
Must have the ability to deliver the business value of Lenovo solutions, develop customer relationships, and expand on existing customer relationships
Demonstrate knowledge of working with complex strategic accounts calling on key decision makers at all levels of the account and navigating through an organization to find and engage the right decision makers
Independently self-motivate
Negotiate solutions to issues with peers, management, senior executives and customers using a Win-Win philosophy

Key Responsibilities
1 Drive to revenue and profit sales objectives for Lenovos SAP Data Hub business, specifically in delivering Lenovos next generation multi-cloud solutions
2 Design of SAP Data Hub solution for customers, including working with technical customer resources and executive stakeholders toward technical design for business outcomes
3 Provide Database and business intelligence solutions for a wide range of business problems and desired outcomes
4 Collect customer data through primary and secondary sources, including face-to-face discussions and other research methods, and articulate that data into meaningful business outcomes that are relevant to the executive sponsor of the SAP Data Hub project
5 Navigate customer environment to find appropriate resources
6 Demonstrate the SAP Data Hub solution technically and walk through the technical design with internal and external constituents Rationalization of the design through an approach based on business outcomes and technical efficiency
7 Demonstrate business transformation and consultative-selling approach
8 Lead discovery sessions with customers and extract business-relevant information
9 Demonstrate executive relevance and the ability to position complex Data Management solutions to C-suite and Line of Business executives
10 Demonstrate cooperative influence over the behavior and strategy of Account teams, Partners and Customers
11 Demonstrate clear awareness of Data and Database market pressures, trends, and transitions
12 Understand and articulate Lenovos and SAPs vision, strategy and architectural approach to data management solutions
13 Work in partnership with the Lenovo SAP Data Hub AE, regional sales leaders, teams and partners to drive business
14 Establish and maintain excellent relationships with regional sales management
15 Work with channel partners in territory and help them plan and execute a Lenovo database and data management solutions sales plan
16 Partner with value-add channel partners to increase partner coverage in all market segments
17 Leverage select partner teams for pre-sales and services capabilities and to scale coverage and lead funnel
18 Work with WW Software Business unit, as well as North America Marketing and Product Management teams, to develop and launch sales initiatives to increase pipeline in territory
National and some international travel required
