Salesforce Platform Administrator who support and manage Salesforce Platform administration supporting agile release delivery of applications Responsible for managing release management development Ops process and implements best practices for platform security and stability Serves as a Salesforce super-user and subject matter expert providing day-to-day user support and troubleshooting of system issuesThe role works within a team of IT engineers on problems of limited scope and complexity which are structured to develop knowledge and experience; receives general guidance and direction on work that may span multiple areas of application; and follows established best practices and procedures to achieve overall performance, schedule and quality standards Effectively communicates with other development team members and demonstrate the ability to deliver quality results in a timely fashion; receives general guidance and direction on platform stability, security, architecture, and interdependencies to follow established practice and procedures for overcoming technical challenges

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

Under general guidance, performs Platform administrator work, deployments, manage code Repository and environment refreshes
Conducts Salesforcecom release upgrades and performs new feature assessments and Provides expertise to the organizational readiness team in the creation of training material
Responds to and diagnoses problems and resolves them
Will be involved in hands-on SFDC configuration, customization, and enhancements
Is familiar with and fully understands both the upstream and downstream systems and consumers Provides guidance on how to best utilize the system and its capabilities
Fully understands the integration points between Salesforce and other systems and monitors them for issues
Liaise between customers and Third Party vendor support when necessary
Provides expertise to the organizational readiness team in the creation of training material
Assists with testing of system releases, enhancements and bug fixes
Communicates any system maintenance activities and software upgrades to the appropriate teams
Provides first level testing of new features
Provides constant feedback on areas of improvement in process, usability and capability
Administers Salesforce security and works with the global security team on system audits
Adds new configuration elements including approved changes to business process, organization changes, workflows, and security models
Applies the companys software engineering processes and standards
Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work; communicates

technical issues within scope of assignment; may assist with technical specification

documentation and review

Learns principles of continuous work practice improvement through involvement in post project review; implements and maintains quality improvements to process and products as they are introduced into the development process
Coordinates own development activities on routine work and cooperates with other developers and scrum team members on technical aspects
Work collaboratively with teams, as necessary, and assume individual responsibility for assigned portions of Platform goals
Report weekly status to the manager and project team
Collobrate with teams in different geographical locations

Knowledge and Skills

Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field;

equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education

Familiarity with overall SFDC architecture and various integrated applications
Experience with Salesforce environment management and CD/CI delivery framework
Familiarity with Source control tools, GitHub and Azure Pipelines
Capabilities in the Salesforce Release Management process and build scripts
SFDC experience in areas such as Sales cloud, Services cloud including Leads, Campaign, Opportunity, Asset, Entitlements, Case Management, and Dashboard/Report development
In depth understanding of SFDC Profiles/Roles and Sharing Rules
Hands on Salesforce Platform configurations, SSO settings, Connected Apps etc
Experience with the coordination, planning and release management efforts for Salesforce solutions
Good understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application
Prefer experience, exposure to entire SDLC from solution definition, solution architecture definition to design, development and testing of the SFDC application
Should have good experience in Data Migration and Integration (API management)
Ability to develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop point-of-view, delivery methodologies, etc as related to SFDC
Solid experience working with CRM integration/migration
Knowledge of Internet technologies (eg, HTML, XML, TCP/IP)
A quick learner and creative problem solver with a passion for solving tough problems with cost efficiency
Possess forward thinking ability to address latent issues proactively
Demonstrated ability to come up with new, innovative solutions
Familiar with technical functionality of core technologies used within business units supported and can use some of the following tools or technologies to manage and develop applications Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Project
Required non-technical skills include
