Tasks As a Sales Manager - Rail, you will be responsible for following activities

Lead the Marketing offering including customer / consultant meetings, technical seminars, exhibitions, presentation , preparation of brochures and customer meetings
Involve with customer / consultant from preliminary stage
Preparation of technical specifications in co-ordination with various business units and ABB offering
Define the most suitable technology to be used based on application characteristics and Rail products portfolio
Support the Sales team in negotiations with customer on technical, contractual and commercial content of the proposal
Live ABBs core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Requirements Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Good understanding of Rail segment market & customer drivers
Deep knowledge and understanding to the electrical engineering industry, design, installation & commissioning of rail electrification quipment/projects
Estimating and tendering experience
Computer literacy and competent in using MS Power point, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project are essential
In order to be considered for this position, it is expected you will have a strong technical knowledge of railway systems (AC & DC tractions technology) and equipment You will possess excellent communication skills and assertive business acumen, which will allow you to collaborate with broader ABB business at a senior level
This role will give you the opportunity to build relationships and gain an in-depth knowledge of our customers preferences whist working with some of the best people in the industry
