The Pre-Sales Solution Consulting Manger role is responsible for meeting quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Direct Sales organization for new business As a leader of the Emerging General Business pre-sales team, you will be the direct manager for 5-7 solution consultants You will add value throughout the sales process and ensure your team is supporting volume and velocity for the Emerging General Business sales teams across the region You will be responsible for helping to drive and support the strategy for the SC team You will be responsible for the escalations, and partner with key executive members in the organization to drive new sales The ideal candidate has NetSuite solution consulting experience and has demonstrated success within the role You have proven success mentoring team members and a strong desire to grow and build a team You thrive on challenges and deal well with shifting priorities


Manage and prioritize sales opportunities for a team of high performing solution consultants

Work cross teams to staff opportunities, track deal progress and provide insights to the solutions consultants and sales leadership

Manage and oversee B2B sales cycles, working with internal stakeholders, solution providers, and implementation partners

Manage RFI/RFP responses as they relate to functional requirements and solution fit

Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuites business applications to all levels, including line of business managers and C level executives

Coach, support, and develop members of the team from both a product value perspective as well as customer engagement

Provide input to other cross-functional departments such as Product Management, Client Management, Support and Professional Services - pertaining to customer requests and product enhancements

Engage multiple cross-functional resources to solve complex problems

Manage and engage the team to promote culture and performance

Troubleshoot and escalate complex customer requirements


2 years in pre-sales solution consulting role

Prior management experience is a plus

Experience presenting enterprise software applications to prospects as part of a sales cycle

Hands-on experience with financial and/or supply chain application packages

Experience with ERP applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JDA, SAP, IBM, Workday, SAGE, Infor, Intacct, or experience migrating off QuickBooks

Proven ability to mentor and develop solution consultants on key skills (coaching, value selling, storytelling, etc)

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities

Previous experience hiring and building a pre-sales team is an asset

BA/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience

Ability to work well on a cohesive team

Located in Austin (Must work from the Oracle Austin Campus)

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products Participates in account planning and strategy development May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles Works with management to define new products Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers May interact with senior management Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions Demonstrated leadership skills Strong presentation skills Ability to travel as needed BA/BS degree or equivalent
