Room Division Officer- Hotel Operation Department Hotel Operations

Location Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad,Chennai, Jaipur,Goa, Indore,Kolkata

Relevant Experience 15-7 Years

Job Role Key responsibilities Blocking of rooms for reservations
Conduct Audit of all rooms for the hotel(s) assigned on a daily basis with reference to Stay Fab Audit checklist and the Audit App on the multimedia tablets at the front desk
Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns
Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members at the Hotel adhere to the Stay Fab Standards
Train, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the Hotel Team Members to ensure a quality operation
Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guests preferences and special requests (wherever and whenever possible)
Build strong relationships and liaise with all departments at Hotel Level & Inventory Team
Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests
Ensure Hotel log book is always updated as per the details of In-house guests
Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures
Reporting suspicious activities of Revenue Leakage to the Reporting Manager
Ensure feedback from the guests upon check out and resolve guest issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality service
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
Knows all safety and emergency procedures, is aware of accident prevention policies
Maintains cordial relations with Hotel Owners & gets Hotel issues resolved time to time
Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts

Required Skills AProficient in the use of MS Office esp MS Excel, Internet and Mobile Applications
Knows basics of Housekeeping & Front Office
Good people management skills
Good writing and Oratory skills in English
Good analytical skills

Fulfil below minimum criteria Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (Called Hotel Management Degree in Laymans language) - Preferred
1 Year Air Hostess Training
1 year Craft Course in Front Office/ Housekeeping
