The program is expected to last 10 - 12 weeks, offers competitive salaries, and is offered in various Swiss Re locations The opportunity entails the development and management of the process and project timeline to deliver the SR US ORSA, and other risk reporting, in compliance with SR guidelines and regulatory requirements

This role includes; coordination of the various inputs to the ORSA calculations and stress scenarios; coordination of Risk Reporting from key stakeholders in the US, UK and Zurich; consistency of the approach, analysis and conclusions; careful tracking of documentation versions; and above all coordinating the process to meet defined milestone and deliverable dates

About the team

The Americas Risk team includes individuals with diverse backgrounds and talents including actuaries, finance and audit professionals and regulatory lawyers Our team is responsible for enterprise risk management in the US, Canada and Latin America for Enterprise Risk over both assets and liabilities We are looking for an intern to fill the role of Process and Project management relating to the Swiss Re US Own Risk Assessment (ORSA) and Risk Reporting in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines

About You

Bachelor in mathematics, economics, finance/accounting, or risk management

Interest in enterprise risk management, solvency assessments, capital planning and regulatory reporting

Strong project management skills including good communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Strong Word, Excel and Power Point skills

Excellent analytical skills and passion for financial services or insurance business

Excellent oral and written English

Team player who naturally brings individuals together as needed, across countries and functions

Reliable, open-minded, creative and enthusiastic

Delivers high quality work also under pressure

Exceptional academic performance (minimum 30 GPA)
