Job Description:

Purpose Understand logic/concept and develop software of embedded devices and systems Responsible for efficiency and stability of the system

Roles & Responsibilities

- Understand the concept/logic of requirement and do the analysis/interpretation of system requirement Ask relevant questions to get the clarity of work

- Coordinate with product manager, engineering manager and client/end user to understand software requirements and design solutions that are innovative, functional and meet end users- needs Prepare documentation & take approval

- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment

- Do the programming as per required quality standards and follow given specifications Write maintainable and testable code and follow clean coding guidelines Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

- Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system Define and implement effective procedures for the design, development and testing of new software

- Work closely with QA department to develop effective strategies and testing procedures Conduct testing of designed software and ensure the accuracy and operational efficiency Coordinate with testing department to understand the bugs Correct the bugs and improve usability

- Prepare and provide testing guidelines of the code along with the documentation

- Coordinate and work with graphic designer to convert designs into visual elements Work with external suppliers, vendors for building an integrated solution

- Travel to site and conduct commissioning and field debugging activities

- Complete the testing, documentation and handover the application as per given schedule Provide support and guidance during implementation

- Study and analyse the performance of department against the target/ goals Identify performance gaps and take corrective measures to improve

- Take initiatives to upgrade knowledge and skills Implement best industry practices to improve performance and productivity

- Recruit team members as per manpower requirement Identify training needs of team members & provide inputs to improve individual performance

- Assess individual performance of team members and provide ongoing feedback for development Identify future leaders and provide development opportunities
