Job Description:

Specific Job Profile

1 VP (Sales) will be responsible for leading and managing our plain gold Jewellery business in India as well as International market

2 The individual must be able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with an emphasis on collective, collaborative teamwork across multiple geographies Strongly self-driven and passionate for success will be a key driver

3 Relationship management with all local and international customers - monthly visits, calls Try to gauge their pain points/ needs

4 Monitor and Drive sales team performance Understand their needs to perform more effectively

5 Stress is on management of the day-to-day operations and daily targets of sales team Evaluate performance and take corrective actions

6 Decide Sales strategy for short term and long term in consultation with senior management

7 Market Analysis - provide consumption based data analysis for different product categories

8 Finalizing Product development strategy for short term (next 2 months) as well as long term

9 Work as a link between the consumer needs, trends and the product development team

10 Review samples being made for suitability and suggest changes Constant feedback to PD team

11 Monitor PD team performance

12 Liaison with factory for order flow and understand bottle necks and costing

13 Overall strategy formulation jointly with Factory head and in consultation with top management

14 Close watch on investment and ROI

15 Finalize monthly as well as annual sales forecast and budget

16 Exposure to International market and customers

17 This position involves meeting with International customers and business owners Hence the candidate must be mature, responsive ability to travel extensively

Qualifications

Education BCom or Chartered Accountant (MBA marketing desirable)

Experience Required

- 3-5 years of work experience in Fashion, jewellery or lifestyle industry
