Regional Sales Manager - Karnataka - Paints

Looking to hire RSM for a leading Paint Company

- Paint companies exp is must(should have worked/working in a paint company)

- Should have 13+ yrs of exp in channel sales,

Location Bangalore (will be handling entire Karnataka )

Qualification MBA

Job Responsibilities

Revenue/Business

- Achieve business targets & plan for growth

- Deliver the Volume and Revenue as per budget from the sales operations maintaining favorable product mix

- Establish new product launches, net reach and market segmentation & penetration

- Formulate market specific plans

- Conceptualizing short term and long term planning for the region and execution basis the plan Market & Distribution

- Management & expansion of channel

- Address Contractor/ Dealer grievances in time

- Opening counters of strategic objective

- Execution of sales strategy - effective partner selection & distribution expansion

- Ensure range selling and availability of all SKUs at contractors- / dealers shop

- Ensure proper market coverage (reach out unpresented town)

- Gather information on competition activities and sensitize the management

- Partner with Marketing team to reach out to key influencers and maintain relationships

Financial Management

- Effectively manage credit in the market ie Credit Limits, Overdue, Bad Debts and Cheque Bouncing

- Build capability of the retail sales team to deliver the key commercial excellence; Control accounting and audit related queries of the region

- Improve sales/cost ratio and work as a profit center

- Ensuring payments, settlement of all claims

- Implement channel schemes within given parameters and ensure control measures

People Management

- Partnering with key stakeholders to hire right and ensure retention

- Coaching/ Guiding/ Motivating team for high performance

- Induction/ Monitoring/ Evaluation of performance, feedback and developing succession

Integration

- Ensuring integration with other functional teams like Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial, IT and HR team for material forecasting, planning and other key working deliverable
