JAPAC is one of the fastest growing regions for Oracle NetSuite, and new Product initiatives in Asia Pacific will be one of the drivers for this growth As a Regional Program Manager Strategic Initiatives for Oracle NetSuite, you will be responsible for representing Oracle NetSuite in front of prospects, customers and internal cross functional stakeholders Reporting into the Manager of International Product Program Management, you will also act as the customer representative in interactions with the product team, defining the solution scope and collaborating with various development teams across the globe on the delivery of new product initiatives and strategic release processes You will be the local lead representative for the SuitePeople and SuiteCommerce product offerings, and also an influencer on SuiteSuccess roll out strategy as it pertains to JAPAC


Maintain up-to-date understanding of local statutory and legal requirements, as it pertains to SuitePeople and SuiteCommerce

Maintain understanding of culturally expected functionality and workflows

Help drive product strategy and roadmap for the JAPAC Edition of NetSuite

Facilitate required Country-specific update changes to core application features, in the JAPAC markets to the JAPAC country lead based on Strategic rollout activities

Work with development, QA, documentation and other product managers through the product development life cycle on impact features for Strategic Initiatives

Collaborate globally with vertical and horizontal product organizations as required

Be the Project lead and manager for New Product Introduction and new Managed Localizations in region

Lead the Product interaction with SuiteSuccess locally for JAPAC to ensure that Product and SuiteSuccess are in full alignment

Collect, analyze, maintain and distribute information about competing products for the local market

Provide product information to meet a variety of internal and external needs including sales collateral, press releases, web site copy and internal training

Identify and work with local partners (SDN team) to deliver country-specific integrated product offerings leveraging the SuiteCloud platform and related technologies, and the Managed Localisation Program activities

Present at Internal Stakeholder Meetings

Review and Localize GTM Launch Presentations

Contribute to Country Product Marketing and Localized Messaging

Contribute to NetSuite Newsletter and other company communications

Advise/Consult on complex/strategic prospect opportunities

Act as the link between HQ, development offices and our local sales offices for Strategic Initiatives

Attend Key Prospect Meetings

Marquee customer relationship building

Understand and engage the relevant internal and external stakeholders to support product initiatives, the sales organization and customer interactions


BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, System Information, Computer Science or related courses

Fluency in English language, Chines, Japanese language would be advantageous

An appreciation of accounting and local accounting standards, business practices, processes and statutory requirements

An appreciation of product development lifecycle and processes

Strong Project Management/Program Management background and experience

Excellent communication and cross functional teamwork skills

Superior analytical, writing, verbal and time management skills

Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment

Ability to analyze problems and create solutions

Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently

Strong customer and business focus

Strong leadership and influencing skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A track record of successfully working with development, QA, and technical writing to deliver quality products is a plus

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending Monitor the project from initiation through delivery Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred
