Job Description:




- To Take care of the complete Channel Distribution network for the regions

- Provide strategic direction to the ASMs

- Facilitate growth of individual brands and ensure deliveries of Marketing plans

- Analyze, monitor and develop strategies to enhance distribution reach through

- Ensure effective New product introductions through achievement of a minimum Perfect Punch Score & effective distribution strategy

- Develop specific strategies for different trade segments and ensure optimum utilization of Trade Marketing resources

- Ensuring commercial hygiene compliance, forecast accuracy

- Coaching and developing the sales team to improve competencies and effectiveness - in the areas of Customer Management / Meeting Effectiveness and Field Implementation

- Managing stockist and trade relationship by anticipating proactively and resolving issues, minimising stockist and field force attrition

- Monitor competitor activity - anticipate and develop strategies to counter competitions efforts

- Facilitate compliance to corporate guidelines on Sales Systems and processes through active communication and control mechanisms

- Responsible for revenue targets for Traditional sales channel

- Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan

- Identify new channels for sales expansion in offline market

Team Management

1 To motivate and direct a team of 60-70 sales professionals to establish coverage, distribution and display objectives to meet sales targets

2 Recruit, Develop and Retain quality manpower

Relationship Management

1 Develop and foster relationship with external (Key Trade partners) and internal stakeholders (Brand Team, Supply Chain, Operations)

2 Inventory Forecast/Planning

3 To share monthly inventory forecast with supply chain team

Demand Generation

1 Work closely with marketing team to devise marketing strategies for offline channel

Commercial Management

1 To manage the channel expenses (schemes/promotions/travel/logistics) and ensure the same are with-in the budgeted numbers


1 Management graduate with experience in Distribution handling

2 Strong analytical/problem solving skills

3 Ability to think out of the box

4 Good mix of strategic thinking and strong execution abilities

5 Proficient in MS Office
