Description

Support Regional Maintenance at facilities across the northwestern US and have a hand in transforming tomorrow

As Regional Maintenance Specialist you will support our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) group leading maintenance management at all facilities within the assigned geographic region, including industrial projects This position will provide support to several regional wastewater facilities located in the Northwest Working with other members of our team you will provide technical support to projects in the region commensurate with technical ability This includes mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control (I&C) support and predictive maintenance programs (PdM); facilitating maintenance knowledge sharing between projects in the region and the company as a whole; and supporting optimization of treatment facilities maintenance within the region through benchmarking You will also provide technical guidance and training for the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS); coordinate and provide training to project personnel related to maintenance best practices, programs, and techniques; develop, monitor, and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintenance performance metrics with project staff and facilitate development of solutions for continuous improvement This includes monitoring and providing input and guidance on data quality

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering or science related field, plus 5 (five) years of experience as a maintenance technician with experience in the planning and control of maintenance operations; or 10 years of experience with planning and control of maintenance operations or US Military maintenance training in lieu of a degree
Extensive preventive maintenance experience specifically working on pumps, motors and equipment, controls and experience using tools and materials used in maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment
Ability to travel approximately 75 PERCENT of the time, including some weekends and assignments over 2 to 3-week periods
Extensive experience with CMMS programs For example Lucity, Maintenance Connection, Maximo, SAP, INFOR, etc
Ability to read and interpret maintenance related blueprints (electrical and mechanical), schematics, sketches, and drawings
Experience developing and working within an approved budget Specifically tracking costs, adjusting activities to stay on budget, financial accountability and optimizing labor and materials
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Valid drivers license with no major infractions

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience

Comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of water and/or wastewater treatment and extensive knowledge of methods to reduce operating costs of a treatment plant through efficiency in energy consumption, chemical addition, staffing strategies and solids disposal
Experience delivering presentations and training programs
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations and maintenance of wastewater or water facilities, including two (2) years at a supervisory level
Water/Wastewater treatment operators license
High level maintenance skills including electrical, instrumentation and controls, mechanical repair, welding, plumbing, etc
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training, experience, and certifications
Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), certified reliability professional (CMRP) or reliability technician (CMRT)
Experience estimating job costing and writing proposals

This position has the flexibility to reside in any Jacobs office in the Northwest US with access to a major airport Relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity
