Responsibilities

Job Objective
IBG 4 Business is part of SME Business of Bank taking care of SMEs with turnover up to 100Cr (SGD 20M)
IBG 4 Business is responsible for Identification and Development of Geographical SME Clusters IBG 4 team owns up seizing every business opportunities in these SME Clusters and ensures rapid scale up of client acquisition/Transactions
IBG 4 Business is engaged in building a Granular Book of Assets and Liabilities through leveraging of Branch Channel, Digital Channels and Partnerships in SME Ecosystem
Regional Head shall be Responsible for building a strong SME Franchise in the SME Clusters of designated Region from both Assets and Liabilities perspective
Regional Head will own P&L, Deposit, cross sell percentages for the business aligned with Country and Regional goals
Building, Sustaining and strengthening Partnerships in SME Ecosystem is the key job requirement Regional head should be able to partner with Regional / country SME Trade Platforms, SME Focused Significant/Marquee Industry Associations and Fintechs

Principal Responsibilities

Adopting One Bank approach, Regional Head would be responsible for leading collaborative efforts in building SME Business

Role requires engagement with various Internal stakeholders from Trade, Treasury, Operations, Other Corporate Business Units, Marketing, HR, Risk, Credit Control and Product Teams keeping Customer Centricity/Journey in mind
Partner and leverage on internal stakeholders to establish best in class practices for efficient and seamless processes and operations Develop and maximize cross-sell relationships and opportunities with other business units
Regional Head is expected to Grow Assets and Liabilities as per the defined Target market & SME Credit Program of the bank and Cross sell Trade & Forex products as per banks policies
To ensure the growth in market share in the business segments under supervision with constant benchmarking with the key competitors
Manage, control and supervise daily activities of the teams in terms of efficiency, compliance and service quality control
Acquire new customers to maximize the Groups market share in the target customer segments, and maximize wallet share of each of the customer, by using digital Channels, Alliances
Ensure he, himself and staffs under his supervision have attended full compliance of the Banks policies, standards, guidelines & procedures; and the codes & ordinance laid down by the Government and the regulatory authorities, particularly those applicable to the course of selling
To groom future people leaders via training and mentoring
Ensure all activities and operating procedures which include relevant controls meet Group and local policy requirements

Required Experience

Minimum 12 years banking experience with at least 6 years at management level, in in managing profitable businesses in Retail Liabilities / Business Banking
Domain expertise in managing profitability, overseeing customer acquisition and quality of customers, enhancing wallet size, cross sell of other products, increasing penetration / share of DBS in chosen customer segments
Displayed ability to lead large matrix teams of senior professionals to execute a strategy aligned with region (with strong digital elements) with India experience
Proven experience of using Digital platforms and Alliances to acquire and service customers
Managed Exponential growth in business while maintaining quality of Portfolio, Customers, Employees and Profit Margins

Education

Degree from a recognized University, preferably majoring from a premier institute in marketing, finance or economics
