Job Description:

Regional Finance Center - Coordinator - Management Consulting Firm

- Incumbent must have 4+ yrs experience in general accounting, financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a captive unit of a multi-national firm

- The person will be outgoing, and comfortable in a truly multinational environment, working with different cultures, styles and all levels of staff Strong leadership skills, including people management and process management will be called upon

Applicant will be responsible to assist the Team Leader / Manager to drive

- New projects - Process efficiencies,etc

- New Process transitions

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

- Strong Accounting concepts / knowledge

- Ability to work under pressure

- Thorough end-to-end process knowledge in GL (Closing, Reporting, Consolidation, Cash & Banking, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations)

- Ability to perform analysis and prepare reports such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Variance reporting, Cash flow etc

- Exposure in R2R activities (Record to Report)

- Month end close

- Preparation of journals and posting

- Fixed Asset Management

- Revenue Accounting

- Cost Accounting

- Cash Management

- Tax & Treasury Activities

- Capable to independently handle all type of queries from People/Client/Management

- Eager to take up new initiatives and process improvements

- Should independently prepare reports/dashboards and analyze the contents

- Ability to create strong controlled process environment and adherence to controls and compliances

- Preparation of Monthly Dashboards

- Willingness to work in shifts (No night shifts)

- Excellent Client Management Abilities

- Team scope management Remain open and constructive to other processes within Regional Finance Center (RFC) that the team can support with or adopt, based upon team skills, resourcing and the opportunity to contribute to the wider RFC success

Personal Specification

- Excellent Communication skills

- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business

- Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization is essential

- It is necessary to have the ability to understand and manage complex reporting relationships and incorporate multiple cultures

- Ability to work remotely and autonomously

Qualifications and Experience


- MBA (Finance) or MCom

- General Accounting experience is desired

- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

- Proficiency in excel

- Prior Transition experience

- At least 3 - 5 years previous Accounting experience
