EDPM is the Engineering, Design & Project Management sector of SNC-Lavalin We plan, design and enable the delivery of complex projects and major programmes across transportation, energy and infrastructure Primarily made up of Atkins, including Faithful Gould, we push boundaries and create value as trusted advisors to our clients and partners

Purpose of the Role

Based out of our Denmark office the Recruitment Partner will support the regional HR teams with the delivery of the HR / People Strategy Their role is to lead a small team that provides high-quality, cost efficient and timely end to end recruitment support whilst also delivering operationally in region The role will predominately focus on Scandinavia and Ireland with opportunity for potential growth across mainland Europe This position will ensure hiring managers, HR, Candidates and all other stakeholders receive customer focused service throughout that delivers the right people at the right time to fulfill business objectives

The role will report to the Head of Recruitment, UK&E with a dotted line into the HR Business Partner, Europe and be accountable for creating and implementing effective recruitment delivery plans, providing accurate and insightful market intelligence and identifying opportunities to create/enhance recruitment processes and the candidate experience in order to achieve the desired growth requirements and support the overall strategy of process alignment and integration within the region

You will also play a vital role in driving the development of our employer brand(s) through the region and providing leadership and co-ordination to recruiters in order to ensure that organisational efficiency and best practice is utilised throughout

Key Responsibilities/Activities

Create credible relationships with key business stakeholders by gaining an understanding of business requirements, translating this into recruitment strategy, managing hiring managers expectations, challenging thinking and providing specialist recruitment expertise and guidance to translate the strategy into recruitment plans
Accountable for creating and implementing detailed end to end recruitment processes, annual recruitment plans and cost-effective solutions to achieve recruitment needs of Denmark, identifying areas for ongoing process improvement and enhanced value for money
Develop an understanding of the diverse employee stakeholder group, adapting service delivery when appropriate, whilst ensuring compliance to recruitment processes and policies
Implement and utilise relevant Recruitment ATS(s), ensuring all stages of recruitment process are recorded and carried out in line with company guidelines and local custom
Initiate and lead Kick off meetings with hiring manager to ensure a defined recruitment plan is agreed and followed for all vacancies Provide expert recruitment advice, guidance and support to ensure most effective sourcing methods are adopted for each vacancy to improve the quality of end to end process eg inspirational and clear Job Adverts and insightful interview questions, use of off-shored and in-country support
Implement effective and innovative techniques/channels for identifying new talent including internet searches, social media, advertising campaigns, employee referrals, events, headhunting and networking
Responsible for creation of exciting recruitment advertising, working with relevant internal/external stakeholders to ensure advertising is both effective and in accordance with SNC-Lavalin/Atkins guidelines, whilst also identifying opportunities to align with further employer branding initiatives and activities and enhance the SNC-Lavalin/Atkins employer brand
Create and maintain up to date candidate talent pools/market maps to improve the efficiency and timeliness of the recruitment process utilising additional support from Bucharest/Bangalore as appropriate
Undertake initial screening and interviewing of potential candidates, presenting appropriate ones to the hiring manager, arranging formal face to face interviews and proactively following up with hiring managers to obtain feedback and keeping all stakeholders appropriately informed on all recruitment matters
Ensure timely and constructive feedback is provided to all candidates rejected following interview stages
Lead the development and implementation of tools and techniques to improve quality of hiring decisions eg interview packs, manager guidelines, training / coaching hiring managers and ensure hiring managers and HR apply best practice assessment, interview and selection methods, including, but not limited to, accountability for legal compliance, minimizing risks and striving for achievement of diversity aspirations
Advise and support hiring manager and HR in all aspects of managing contract negotiations, ensuring that candidate references and relevant background checks are obtained in line with local custom and corporate governance requirements Support and advise business with onboarding process to help create a positive hiring experience to the candidate
Develop, monitor and provide accurate and meaningful Management Information to local and global stakeholders as required, utilizing outputs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Ensure agencies are effectively briefed on specific vacancies and follow necessary processes All agencies should be due diligence checked and performance monitored
Assisting with the organisation of internal recruitment events eg Agency Days, Assessment Centre or organising participation in external recruitment events eg attendance at Recruitment Fairs, Universities where required
Create and maintain strong relationships with key HR stakeholders and other recruiters across Scandinavia to lead and coordinate integration/alignment initiatives across the region
Provide mentoring, coaching and development of the recruitment team and wider business/HR community in all recruitment matters
Provide ad hoc support and lead/contribute to other corporate projects and activities as required
