Morgan Stanley is planning a major Metro NYC Headquarters campus masterplan and revitalization project The Firms intent is to modernize the existing Metro NYC portfolio, optimize the real estate footprint, drive key business unit collocation and adjacency strategies, and develop an overall timeline and budget for project construction The Firm is seeking to assemble a high qualified internal team that can provide real estate and program management oversight for the strategic planning, programming scope, schedule, budget development and delivery phases of the project

The overall program covers the various corporate buildings in the New York Metro area and will specifically self-deliver on the refurbishment of the Mid-town portfolio from design through to construction and commissioning of the building, whilst providing program management oversight and co-ordination across the New York metro sites to include 1NYP and Westchester given the inter-dependencies between the various locations

In developing this strategic program, Morgan Stanley has identified the need for a dedicated Corporate Services (CS) Communications manager to lead and develop the strategy for firm internal communications for the project This role would be responsible for all program and project level communications governance, content development, and message channels Act as single point of contact for CS and liase with both internal corporate and external communications teams, including all business unit communications leads across Morgan Stanley Work closely with senior executives and key stakeholders to build and execute communications strategies designed to align our employees around division objectives and enhance culture and engagement

Job Summary
The Project RE|Imagine Communications manager (Vice President), will report to the Project Executive Managing Director, responsible for the successful delivery of the Metro NYC Re Imagine project This role offers a unique opportunity to support the success of the project, by ensuring employee engagement throughout the overall lifecycle of the project, by developing strategies to communicate business priorities and develop new and creative ways to engage our employees through multiple communication platforms with a focus on improving organizational culture and employee engagement

Working directly with the Corporate Services Delivery and Morgan Stanley stakeholders;
Project Re|Imagine delivery team which includes Program Management and Governance, External Strategic Advisor partners, Project Management, Workplace Change Management and workplace change consultants
CS Communications team
Firm Internal Communicators Network
Business Unit communications leads

Manage the development and implementation of all internal (within Morgan Stanley) and external communications, marketing, branding, and communication strategies
Lead appropriate communications activities to ensure close alignment and management of communications and change management roadmaps for Morgan Stanley constituency groups in advance of project change readiness activities
Develop a standardized communications processes Work with all functions to support their direct communications needs, help them promote accomplishments, and support client communication channels
Organize and drive agenda for communication platforms such open forums, town halls, expos, workshops, presentations, digital messaging and updates
Oversee the overall production of internal communications, events and programs materials, including newsletters, e-blasts, web-based collaboration sites, etc for the purpose of communicating critical information to employees across the firm
Integrate the program brand into all messaging
Develop, optimize and maintain content for various communication platforms
Collaborate with partners across the communications function (eg ICN) to ensure consistency of messaging and gain firm wide notoriety for division-interest stories and accomplishments
Develop and execute against annual budgets and project management milestones and deliverable dates
Strategically collaborate with and build relationships across functional departments and client business units alike


Skills Required
Minimum of 6-10 years of strategic communications experience with emphasis on employee communications and engagement
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic agenda across large, global, geographically dispersed organization
Decisive, independent leadership style that thinks critically and creatively; must also possess an ability to craft messages for targeted audiences of all levels
Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, appropriately balance strategic and execution activities, and perform effectively under pressure
Effectively collaborate with colleagues and staff at all levels of the organization
Bachelors degree in Communications and experience working within an investment bank or financial services industry strongly preferred
