FIS is looking for a Quality Manager to join our Professional Services Consulting team in Brown Deer, WI or any US-based location As a member of the FIS consulting practice, the Quality Manager provides consulting services with clients to establish best practice quality management capabilities

This role involves 25-50 PERCENT domestic travel


As a Quality Manager, you will provide quality governance over large scale, complex financial software solutions requiring software development, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements to product development or operations teams within the division and to its clients The Quality Manager also provides the strategy and works with Program/Project Managers and Clients to manage and ensure the effectiveness of quality related efforts

You will provide consulting services to clients, to establish best practice quality management capabilities
You will be a quality management leader across large scale, complex, financial solutions in a client-facing role
You will work to determine appropriate quality processes, methodologies, techniques (including test tools and test automation) to apply to the project
You will work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to tailor standard quality processes to meet program requirements, and
implement and manage tailored processes through completion of the project
You will develop the quality strategy, define the quality team structure, define testing requirements, and manage scope change impacts
You will create the Quality roadmap and drive the plan for each project


The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience within a Professional Services or consulting environment, with specialized knowledge of Quality Management

You have expert-level understanding of the SDLC and Software Quality concepts and methodologies
You are experienced in creating and executing Software Quality Plans, Test Plans, and Test Scripts
You are an excellent communicator and strong relationship-builder, you have experience in a client-facing role
You love analyzing issues and devising efficiencies to better the client experience
