He/She will have to

Ensure Integration testing for Major Valdi Global Markets clients for regulatory Exchange migrations and client upgrades
Assess migrations impacts and elaborate testing scope based on client workflow/ architecture
Schedule kickoff meetings with client for major upgrades
Resolve critical issues and contribute to the business unit/area development
Be responsible of testing follow up and release with recommended configuration
Communicate quality information throughout the organization
Support development and delivery of training in quality matters
Lead and mentor quality assurance team members to enhance team efficiency
Manage team planning and SDP preparation
Calculate and communicate quality metrics and propose any action plan to improve those KPI
Propose process enhancement at System Testing team level and compagy level
Interact with Exchange project Managers and other Valdi teams
Adhere to the departmental application development and client delivery process standards,
Provide input on product direction to product managers / Exchange project managers
Coordinate with industry compliance consultants and product managers to verify applications meet regulatory compliance,
Ensure proper application of technology
Ensure other related duties assigned as needed
Manage work efforts of managers/supervisors with responsibility for hiring, firing performance appraisals and pay reviews

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience


Thorough knowledge and use of process improvement and quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software or business operations processes for which the quality program will be focused
Considerable knowledge and qualification in companys standard processes and one or more best practices quality approaches, eg, CMMI, ISO, six sigma, total quality measurement
Thorough knowledge and experience conducting risk analyses, quality assessments, audits and/or studies and implementing successful process improvement programs
Considerable knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC)
Financial market knowledge, on Valdi core products and exchange connectivity (Market data and/or Order routing),
Skill in project management, organization, communications, analytical and people skills,
Skill in leading, supervising and managing effectively under pressure,
Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level clients,
Ability to maintain positive working relationship with clients and other Valdi teams
Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and problem areas,
Ability to delegate projects to qualified subordinates as appropriate,
Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively,
Ability to operate independently,
Ability to exhibit solid decision-making and problem solving skills,
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
