Process As a Quality Assurance Manger - QAM for Content Operations, you will be responsible for identifying, driving and tracking strategic initiatives and measuring results by monitoring quality metrics across multiple testing functions Youll be responsible for delivering and communicating a strategy to your team that focuses on purpose, shared vision and goals Youll develop an actionable goal commitment strategy that ensures the goals set for the quality organization are achieved In this role, you will collaborate with numerous technical, operational, training and program teams to identify, challenge, define and specify testing solutions that improve the App testing process quality and QA manual testing of feature launches You will be able to understand how to identify the right inputs to achieve meaningful outputs, implement closed loop processes and measures to ensure improvements are realized You will have proven ability to assess situations and guide teams toward both short-term and longer term systemic changes In this role you will experience a wide range of problem solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection, analysis and automation

People You will build collaborative relationships with operations and program teams, working closely to create and execute a quality project roadmap You will also prepare and execute regular program updates on the process quality to senior management Youll deliver an effective feedback strategy that conveys progress and maintains engagement from our team, our stakeholders and our business partners

A successful Quality Assurance Manager will be expected to
Manage a core team of high caliber auditors, quality specialists and quality assurance engineers working on validating apps to deliver world class app catalog on Amazon products and services
-Manage a QA team supporting systems with a defined product, technology, and overall manual testing strategy for feature launches
Have product development experience Capable of writing/reviewing automated scripts
- Can use designs, domain expertise and architecture to inform test plans
- Lead a QA team to test existing software and new software (with limited scope/complexity)
-Clarifies test requirements, defines a test strategy
- Accelerates progress and Clears or escalates blockers
- Revamp the existing Testing process Audit and Quality Control processes
Monitor and report on Quality metrics and own Quality Team Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reviews Reports
Drive a Zero Defect culture by managing quality assurance and process adherence
Conduct 5 Whys Analysis/ Fish Bone Analysis to identify error root causes and trends
Analyze historical data to build quality improvement initiatives and drive quality strategies across the network
Manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments within an Agile/Scrum environment
Work with quality specialists to manage test passes and defect reporting
Provide technical expertise and leadership throughout app life cycle Identify gaps and drive improvements in processes, products and overall customer experiences Represent team and drive initiatives cross-functionally
Drive automation best practices and tooling to boost overall productivity
Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach quality specialists, Quality Assurance Testers and Quality assurance engineers at different levels of experience
Partner with Operations and Training to ensure Auditors are constantly evolving, learning and improving
Embrace constant change with flexibility and good grace which demands strong deliverables
You will have a strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment
You will be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7 years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance
3 years in a QAM role
Experience in identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases, and testing results
3 years of people management experience including hiring and developing QAEs and SDETs
Experience identifying and implementing automated testing tools and frameworks
Experience in engaging with stake holders to set and drive quality assurance goals
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Exposure to role of Auditor - Quality Management System
Experienced in using quality mindset to drive improvements through the application of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools and concepts

Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to hire and grow talented programmatic and user-level personnel
Experience in automation, technologies and tools Ability to drive automation initiatives Familiar with implementing app testing automation, emulation, and testing frameworks to support on-device testing
Experience with systems automating client / server testing with a heterogeneous mix of client applications and embedded devices
Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
Strong understanding on various SDLC models; ability to handle agile/waterfall process in a fast paced development environment
Demonstrated ability to define and present metrics that help illuminate our quality and quality goals
Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test execution cycles simultaneously and communicating out results to key stakeholders
Experience with performance and stress testing methods and frameworks
Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Lean Certification
Mastery of SQL, SharePoint, Excel, Power Point, Word and a statistical package (eg JMP or Minitab)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction
Comfortable in working with large, cross-functional, multi-departmental teams across management levels in formal and informal settings
Experience working closely with development and business teams to understand requirements and to communicate problem impacts during the development/test process
Demonstrated ability to deal with senior leadership and influence with your analytical and communicative skills
Change Management
Type of person who routinely gets assigned difficult tasks, completes them on time, and meets or exceeds expectations in terms of quality and productivity
