Job Requirements

1 L1 technical support for communication networks preferably for Telco- mobile services

2 Good working knowledge of how a mobile telecom network provides services to consumers and business customers Knowledge & working experience in 2G/3G/4G networks both RAN and mobile core (voice core, packet core, IMS)

3 Familiar with IP Transport and data networks Be familiar with element managers and OSS tools - Netscout, Netcool, Smarts, Netact,u2000, NPM, Netrac SLM tools like remedy, ALM, Plutora

Role purpose

- In the role of ITIL analyst/ L1 service desk support you will provide support to Telco Labs- Mobile Core Network components - helping Testers, Designers and Operations to work together in the role of L1 support

- The role will be responsible for all aspects of the end to end Labs ITIL processes to ensure continuous service availability for customers of Labs

Responsibilities & accountability

- Work with the ITIL leads to implement the Configuration, Changes, Problem and Incident management processes in line with ITIL standards and 3GPP specs

- Experience and exposure on End-user support and Technical side of the network

- Support the Continuous Improvement process, ensuring priority to those that have a customer or commercial benefit

- Support the implementation of new and existing tools and identifying opportunities for further automation

- Ensure all environmental risk and issues are captured, managed and driven to closure within the Technology Risk Management Process

- Monitor the event alerts and notify to the concerned team and process the requests from the end users to level 2 and level 3 support engineers

- SLA driven or OLA driven support or activities are carried out

- Support cross-functional and cross-site communities to work together in order to deliver the best in class physical environments, core, access and transport elements, as appropriate, as well as the products and services to protect the customer experience

- Previous experience mobile delivery is added advantage

Knowledge & experience

- Have a good working knowledge of how a mobile telecoms network provides services to consumer and business customers

- Knowledge of 3GPP standards and the differences in implementation between for 2G, 3G and 4G

- Knowledge & experience with EPC(MME, UGW), GGSN, SGSN,PCRF,DNS Gx &Gy AAA, OCS, Cisco ePDG, Gi services

- Familiar with IP Transport and data networks Be familiar with element managers and OSS tools - Netscout, Netcool, Smarts, Netact, u2000, NPM, Netrac SLM tools like remedy, ALM, Plutora
