Oracle Application Labs (OAL) builds and manages mission critical applications that run the Oracle Cloud A part of the Engineering organization, OAL is fundamentally focused on the enabling the transformation to the Cloud including the application areas of CPQ, Quote to Cash, Service Provisioning, Order Management, Subscription Plan Management, Customer Lifecycle Management, Usage and Billing, Cloud Store, Tenant Management, Partner Store and others In all, these solutions are an integral part of Oracle Public Cloud Strategy and is a new paradigm for software development in a fast paced development environment

Position description

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, planning and executing test scripts to support the Cloud Framework and the applications running on the Cloud This will include the developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards You will maintain documentation of test results and analyze test results and recommend corrective actions

Preferred Background

BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent

1-3 years of hands on experience in the testing of Cloud related business process and flows

1-8 years of experience in working in a team of quality engineers

Experience testing SAAS applications and/or Familiarity with Automation is a plus

Experience with multi-layer enterprise applications like Sales , Marketing, Expenses, Procurement, Supply Chain, Quoting, Store, Order Management, Provisioning, Contracts

Familiar with different kinds of testing and test coverage techniques

Expertise in test case authoring and manual testing

Should be familiar with QA processes and the SDLC (Software Development Life cycle)

Working Knowledge of Database, SQL, etc is a plus

Must be a strong team player, detail oriented, self-motivated and perform well under pressure

Experience as a member of a scrum/agile team is a plus

Good Communication and collaboration skills

Excellent Analytical skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards Develops and executes software test plans Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures Maintains documentation of test results Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment Fully competent in own area of expertise May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area 4 years of software engineering or related experience
