HR Generalist

Reports to Director, People Operation & General Management

Punchh is looking for a seasoned HR Generalist who will leverage their experience in HR and people operations to work on various initiatives including the roll out of necessary HR tools and systems (HRIS, Performance Management, Employee Rewards, Benefits, Career Pathing etc) with particular focus in the following areas

HR Tools Roll-out

- Participate and drive rollout of various HR tools for HRIS, Performance Management and benefits for the enterprise Collaborate with other HR partners for implementing integrated solutions that support People Operations across all Punchh locations

Performance Management / Org Design / Compensation Strategy

- Develop and oversee performance management process, including goal setting and performance assessment, feedback and training processes

- Define and operationalize succession plans for operating managers

- Compensation strategy and development of salary structure and the variable pay systems

- Competitive market salary research and salary studies to help establish solid salary practices and salary bands that help to recruit and retain superior talent

People Operations

- Define and roll out a world class onboarding program

- Develop HR policies and employee handbook; oversee and maintain company policies and procedures, including companys core values and ethics policies

- Collaborate/partner with Benefits providers to negotiate and implement best in class benefits for Punchh employees

- Primary HR business partner for operational groups - responsible for monitoring organizational structure to accomplish company goals and objectives

- Provide advice, counsel and coaching to employees regarding HR policies and procedures

- Champion company culture and enforce team spirit by supporting company and team events and outings

- Investigate, resolve and/or coordinate grievances, workplace disputes, harassment or ethics violation and disputes

Requirements

- 4-5 years of relevant HR experience in high-growth IT companies a with multiple US and international offices and employees

- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs

- Team player with a collaborative leadership style and a proven ability to build, mentor and retain quality employees in a fast-paced work environment Ability to work autonomously

- Knowledge of employment, wage and salary laws and regulations across multiple states and countries General knowledge of employment laws and practices across India (Rajasthan, Chennai)

- Knowledge of organizational development theory and practices is helpful

- Ability to negotiate and manage dispute resolution processes Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures

- Knowledge of information systems used in human resources applications Experience with HRIS systems

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Educational qualifications Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent Masters degree preferred

Other Skills

- Proven ability to work cross functionally and effectively throughout various levels of the organization structure Ability to influence cross-functional teams and individuals without direct authority

- Good balance between a longer-term strategic thinker coupled with more short-term milestones that advance the company towards the longer-term goals
