As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Sales Operations, in Canada As a Proposal Manager you will report directly to the Proposal Team Manager

Your impact as a Proposal Manager

The Proposal Manager is responsible for the development, support and management proposals, ranging from small and straightforward to large and complex, in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process He/she leads the proposal process setting the timeline, running meetings and ensuring that a high-quality proposal is delivered on time, while adapting to unexpected challenges and competing project priorities The Proposal Manager works directly with account executives and subject matter experts to ensure that the content is accurate and the proposal reflects the strategic vision of the firm The successful candidate is able to plan and build a high quality, winning response to a request for proposal, develops content, and continuously works at creating efficiency within the process

Job Responsibilities

Proposal Development

Assist in crafting strategic proposals with input from commercial, business stakeholders and subject matter experts
Manage a timely process under deadline and all aspects of the RFP process, coordinating multiple proposals
Work with creative design team to build visual content
Develop written content for technical answers in collaboration with subject matter experts, including editing, rewriting content into clear, effective and consistent responses
Review of proposal for quality control, consistency and clarity of key strategic messages and branding
Collect, develop and edit proposal content for future use and build a base familiarity with all services we support
Provide post-RFP support on an as-needed basis

Process Management

Review RFPs to determine requirements for deliverables
Schedule and lead strategic discussions
Build and communicate timelines to key stakeholders
Document and update project requirements
Manage general workload ensuring all deadlines for submissions are met while working on multiple tasks
Provide regular status updates to all team members
Schedule and lead debrief discussions
Store any new or revised content in accordance with best practices
Work with the team to ensure quality product
Position will require to work some evenings and weekends to meet deadlines

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Knowledge & Experience

Strong knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Proven project management skills, with experience holding team members accountable for deliverables
Keen awareness of project variances and the ability to provide corrective action solutions

Demonstrated experience facilitating project planning meetings, preparing presentations and presenting to various audiences

Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Preferred Experience

Superior written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency in French is a plus)

Demonstrated experience writing proposals or marketing content
Prior experience in a human capital consulting and/or professional services is preferred

Education

Bachelors degree in business with a preferred focus in project management or marketing and/or equivalent years of industry experience
