The Role Responsibilities

Manages HR project(s) / change through the approved methodology and successfully delivers the scope

Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, costs, benefits and all other key aspects of the project are documented

Create financial baselines and track cost actuals in a detailed budget document for submission to HR PMO and Finance monthly

Prepare materials for governance meetings as required including Board quality presentations

Ensure that issues, risks and interdependencies are identified, managed and resolved

Ensure key person risks (BaU and project) are mitigated

Manage Project governance through delivery of detailed Work Breakdown Structures, Project Working Groups and Steering Committees Manage tools & information

Assist the PMO with Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and Benefits Realisation Ownership handovers at Project closure Compile lessons learned to contribute to process improvement

Our Ideal Candidate

Process Re-engineering Mindset and ability to question status quo

Experience working within Human Resources in the financial industry preferable

5 years experience in Project Management

Experience in leading IT projects for financial services providers HR and relevant functional knowledge is an advantage

Knowledge of SDLC

Have worked in an international, dynamic organisation

A proven track record leading successful projects

People Management experience

PeopleSoft / Oracle experience or Data Analytics experience an advantage

Project Management accreditation PMP/ITIL/PRINCE2

Deep understanding of waterfall / PMBOK methodology AGILE is an advantage

Knowledge of Clarity as a Project Management Tool is an advantage

Evidence of prior experience managing and influencing stakeholders at Executive/Board level and providing high quality presentations and updates

MS Project skills

Advanced MS Office Suite Skills including SharePoint

Excellent communication skills oral, written and presentation

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different styles according to target audience

Demonstrated competency in decision making and problem solving; resource management; conflict management; leadership; and planning, prioritising and goal setting

Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders, internal resources, and recognize the decision rules involved in a process and articulate them in if-the-else format
