Your Role and Responsibilities

Management of projects for various clients segments Main focus is on integration projects/application development in Financial sector, however, new types of projects such as IoT are emerging and coming soon

Successful candidate will be member of a friendly and very experienced team of senior Project Managers working for IBM Services, always ready to help with advise or skills transfer

We are looking for a motivated and communicative person that simply wants to be successful In our environment, the success is measured in the following dimensions Management satisfaction meeting financial expectation and timely reporting
Client satisfaction timely delivery within the agreed quality and budget
Team satisfaction creation of friendly environment with high efficiency and good collaboration to get the result as a team

Seniority, experience and broad set of skills are welcomed but not mandatory Junior candidate with a good technical overview can achieve very good results in short time as well The secret is in internal motivation/enthusiasm, willingness to work hard and learn new things and good communication skills to create working but friendly environment for both client and the team

As a minimum, the candidate should be
Familiar with project management domains Initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing
Familiar with complete project life cycle Analysis, design, implementation, testing, support
Independent in solving problems and tasks
Equiped with very good communication skills

A real advantage of the candidate is participation on development projects (not necessarily large ones) in leading technical role, such as analytical or development leader, ideally in Agile environment

Position summary and responsibilities
Leads team on a project or a segment of a larger project Translates customer requirements into plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results; or have acceptance in the targeted market; while meeting business objectives

Basic skills/knowledge

- Environment
Basic knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; Initiating; planning; executing; controlling; and closing Basic knowledge of current Project Management methodologies Demonstrates the required proficiency levels for skills defined at this position in the IBM Skills Management System Certification in any PM methodology is advantage Knowledge in business matters; finance; planing; forecasting and personnel in order to manage team staff and business issues

- Communications/negotiation
Engaged as a professional to work with team members to articulate; compare; and implement solutions and alternative approaches based upon project management principles Team members might include customer; supplier and IBM staff Clearly communicates team results to immediate management / project manager

- Problem solving
Recognizes and articulates problems related to the project/segment of the project Applies creativity and judgment in development of solutions or deliverable objectives As appropriate; challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement

- Contribution/leadership
Works on and understands the objectives related to the project or segment of a larger project from a cost; schedule; technical and quality perspective Decides own priorities and is able to recommend project tradeoffs Understands department/project mission and applies this understanding in project activities Displays proper use of PM tools to team members throughout the project life cycle

- Impact on business scope
Accountable for meeting customers requirements and obtain the results of the project segment; unit or deliverable assigned Participates in or responsible for project planning Identifies; estimates and presents cost; schedule; business and technical risk for project segment; unit or deliverable assigned Interfaces directly with corresponding levels of customers staff Performs activities to ensure customer satisfaction Responsible for their financial baseline and its impacts to the overall department and / or project costs and expenses

- 4 and more years working as PM ideally on the vendor side
- experience with application development in Java/J2EE or Net
- practical experience with waterfall, iterative and agile development approaches
- leading teams of 15 people
- experience with any of the following businesses finance, telco, public
- experience with project status evaluation metrics
