About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Project Management professional to lead our APAC COE PMO team in Hyderabad The PMO Lead will ensure the delivery and management of multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints that may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management in order to deliver business value Additionally, you should bring a passion for project management, relentless customer obsession, and a zeal for successfully delivering complex projects that drive business value The person should also be prepared to lead, steer and guide members of the team The person will also be a part of the APAC COE leadership team, driving a constant culture of standardisation and best practices sharing across a 2000 members at the APAC COEs

This role will work across many functions and teams, in the region and in other international offices, and will provide you with the opportunity to completely design, prioritize, and implement projects to help this fast growing region scale Always looking to improve efficiency and solve problems which arise in this high change environment, this role is dynamic and fast thinking

What Youll Do

Stakeholder Management

Manage diverse sets of stakeholders across our team and business to get work done fast and in a way that is relevant to the appropriate audience
Projects will involve stakeholders which span across leadership across sites and as well as the whole COE employees to drive various global,regional and local initiatives
Ability to put structure to a chaotic environment and action biased to ensure that we execute as per plan quickly to help solve critical problems
Will have exposure to manage and influence stakeholders and put to use strong communication management skills

Project Management Continuously improve on the PMO infrastructure to ensure we have a complete and concise documentation on all projects executed by the team
Independently execute various global, regional and site level projects, across multiple teams dealing with eg quality and service improvements, creating and improving capabilities, data analytics, migrations, people initiatives, reporting improvements, process standardization and keeping track of plans, quality and timelines for such activities
Estimate work efforts, design project plans, define milestones and manage resources accordingly, while driving adherence and compliance with deadlines on deliverables as assigned to projects
Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to increase overall efficiency across the organization
Understand and execute project management concepts that deal with properly managing scope, timeline, and cost

People Management Performance manage a team of individual contributors ensuring that they deliver the expected results on all projects assigned
Able to set clear goals for varied team members to run various projects and programs and thus create desired benefits for the organization through clear execution
Be able to guide your team members to steer through unstructured goals and create structured project plans to ensure solid project execution
Be able to ramp up and upskill the team in an efficient manager if need be, to develop and promote independent project managers

Executional Excellence Articulates clear priorities (including high and low ones) to align large teams
Ensures all teams have clear authority and targets that ultimately ladder up to the same or complementary objectives
Builds track record of achievement and action (especially in high-stakes or uncertain conditions)
Designs systems and structure (including org design) for teams that translate into high quality output
Plans and prioritizes across multiple initiatives to ensure sufficient resourcing for targeted timelines without burnout
Utilizes all relevant organizational resources to ensure completion
Demonstrates ability to flex in the face of unexpected setbacks or opportunities
Motivates, inspires, and instills positivity in others, especially through challenging times

Planning and organization Articulates clear vision and areas of strategic focus (including low priorities and translates this into actionable project scopes, questions, and frameworks
Processes high-impact priorities effectively within and outside the team
Effectively manages and executes highly visible, high risk, broad-scale programs, requiring extensive cross-functional coordination
Allocates team and cross-functional resources to maximize long-term outcomes of business priorities
Engages senior leadership through planning, progress reports, and presentation
Has a high-level view of the progress of his/her organization to easily spot when progress is getting off track
Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises / risks, and devises contingency plans

Continuous Improvement Opportunity identification Identifies problems before they surface, and solves key pain points for Uber customers and Uber Also, persuades multi-disciplinary and cross-org stakeholders to undertake innovative process improvement efforts
Process improvement Employs advanced process improvement tools and techniques to deploy sustainable strategic initiatives Consistently clears path and pioneers innovative solutions to challenges that have very little definition

What Youll Need 2 Minimum Years of Experience with Project Management, scaled services operations, program management, stakeholder management, strategy and planning

About the Team We have a small but highly capable and motivated team that drives APAC COEs local and regional strategy and goals, and execute global initiatives locally As a member of this cross-site Planning & Execution team, you should be comfortable in an all hands on deck environment, able to operate and coordinate across multiple teams, be flexible yet assertive, and thrive in a hectic and ever changing environment This role is all about ensuring the executional success of project portfolio in APAC COE
