The Oracle Applications Technical Consultant (Programmer 2) is responsible for meeting Systems and Tools demand for mission critical Business Processes within CRM/Customer Programs area The ideal candidate should be highly experienced in developing and deploying Web applications and tools, and architect better, innovative, robust system solutions

Specific Job Responsibilities

Design, Develop and Deploy Web applications Projects using Oracle PL/SQL / Application Express

Own & Drive (end to end) the system projects to meet and exceed the end objectives

Product Management, Building relationships with Business Stakeholders/Technical counterparts

Ensure the Applications are compliant with Global Information Security Policies and Recommendations

As a part of APEX development, works hands-on with PL/SQL, java scripting, jQuery, XML, BI Publisher

Supports the Oracle Business Intelligence Team for ETL/BI Projects

Works in an agile development environment and associated concepts

Provides troubleshooting and debugging assistance to perform system analysis and issue resolution

Assist functional team members with high-priority projects requiring technical assistance Serves as a Product Manager for existing custom tools throughout their lifecycle

Relevant Training, Qualifications, and Work Experience

Essential Skills

BTech/MCA/BS/MS

5 years of experience in Web application development (preferably PLSQL / Oracle Application Express)

Should have experience in Requirements Analysis, GAP/Risk Analysis, and overall project management A self starter and execute projects with lesser guidance

Should have exposure to technical architecture, data modeling, db schema and table design, design web solutions to solve complex business challenges

Should have experience in Oracle PL/SQL, APEX, BI Publisher, REST API/Web Services using APEX

Should have a broad understanding of Web application solutions, industry best practices, performance and design considerations, and overall application implementation knowledge

Working knowledge and proficiency in SQL tuning and performance optimization of PL/SQL programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable skills

o CRM/Marketing Domain Knowledge

o Mobile app development exposure

Work with Oracles world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracles global infrastructure

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area
