Position Summary

Own the definition and delivery of key functional capabilities for Oracle-NetSuites products supporting our target market Go-to-market SuiteSuccess edition plans Consider the varied needs of all users of the Suite in those businesses Lead a cross-functional scrum team to identify product needs, create and manage feature backlog, create functionality user stories and oversee the execution of your plans by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment

Roles and Responsibilities

Fully understand the business, operational, statutory and organizational needs of our customers and support the creation of the PSG strategy to win against competitors in our chosen markets and clearly define future needs in the product for those same markets

Lead the creation, definition and update of requirement Business Use Cases and User Stories in collaboration with other Product Managers and our Development Teams

Be responsible for presenting and answering questions on those capabilities/requirements in an intelligent, knowledgeable and passionate fashion

Work collaboratively with our UX team on design of required functionality

Manage our PSG PM and Development processes associated with this role and these deliveries including backlog grooming, sprint demos, sprint reporting, sprint execution, translation, etc for the planned functional offerings

Be the recognized expert on your PSG functionality supporting Sales, Professional Services and all other teams in meeting the needs of our customers and prospects

Support training activities on new features for your solutions across all internal teams including Sales, PS, SuiteSuccess and others

Presentations to individual customers and at customer events may be required You should be able to do these with confidence, knowledge and panache

Support the definition and standardization of process across the PSG team through use of your experiences and knowledge

Ad hoc assignments and projects as requested by Team Management


Relevant Product Management and business experience working within an Agile Development Team a must International experience an advantage

Good understanding of ERP (specific vertical attributes can be named), cloud, mobile applications and developing technologies, and their role in the efficient operation of a modern company highly desired

3 - 5 as a Product Manager, Operational Management or Professional Services Consultant within the product market space highly desirable

Product Management experience around PM skills, processes, and best practices, and ability to teach to others highly desirable

Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions A track record for building products with exceptional user experience

Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills Ability to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult tradeoff decisions

Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills

Travel (required)

Domestic and International travel may be required but would not exceed 25 PERCENT International travel may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role and a passport is therefore required

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications Communicate product strategy and functionality Initiate and foster relationships with other groups Review product documentation and collateral Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area 1 year of software engineering or related experience
