Job Description:

  • Competitor Product analysis, Product-formulation in coordination with the Production Department, Development of product design, labelling and packaging, and promotional literature, including  Visual Aids, Booklets, Posters, Point-of-Sale promotion material etc,

  • Define the broad product attributes, features and technical specifications considering market requirement, regulatory framework, and competitors’ offerings

  • Responsible for New Product Launching in different areas

  • Brand Plan, Budgeting and Target setting, and Developing the marketing plan and strategy, through different marketing channels, including digital marketing platforms, social media

  • Managing company’s website and coordinating with third parties for Brand website designing and continual updating of product information

  • Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and for monitor advertising, promotion campaigns and sales aids in accordance with the annual marketing plan

  • Create and manage customer database, identify and develop new customer base, lead revenue-generation and design market research projects

  • Coordinate with designated Ad Agency to develop an appropriate strategy and media plan and periodically review the success of the same

  • Support and liaise with the sales/marketing team to study the cost- effectiveness of the promotional and marketing plan, assess the response and suitability of the promotional tools, and ensure optimum utilization of promotional material and other related resources

  • Joint effort with the field staff to develop new territories and to understand the market dynamics and demand, identifying market opportunities for brand building

  • Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise, and to train, motivate and guide the field force to ensure continuous growth of the brand

  • Preparation of Training Manual and imparting training to the ASMs, RSMs and ZSMs

  • Conducting Senior Manager Review meetings every month and State- wise meetings and performance appraisal

  • Sales Forecasting and special applications pricing – coordination for Institutional tenders, government/non-government agencies

  • Post-Marketing Surveillance for Brand registry for publication in important Journals

  • Identifying new application opportunities, development of new applications, and conducting trials for new applications

  • Understand product requirement from customers (internal/external) and provide market specific inputs for various segments

  • Primary Market Research before and after launch of products, and developing a system and mechanism for feedback and Market intelligence

  • Analysing data received from market research to understand the challenges and opportunities,

  • Establishing and maintaining good relationship with customers by taking quick actions on their feedback

  • Sales targets – product wise , value wise , sector wise field sales target

  • Launch of new products

  • Organizing customer seminars, camps

  • Handling of quality complaints of products

  • Percolating technical information to customers related to products

  • Preparation  of products  price list

  • Monitoring short expiry products at company  depots

  • Visit to field &  technical training on line to field personnel

  • Generation of field trail reports of new products
