Job Description:

What youll be doing

- Act as the overall director for a portfolio of products and platforms

- Own the creation and management of a portfolio of products aligned to a particular sector or capability area, with accountability for the assigned portfolio

- Engage with global solutions and commercial leaders to shape the strategic direction for the current and future set of products in the portfolio

- Establish the appropriate communication forums and channels to engage the wider business and ensure visibility of product roadmaps Drive deployment best practice and encourage on-time delivery

- Be an active player in the development and execution of the overall product strategy (aligned to the capability strategy and technical architecture) with accountability for all future developments

- Be a leader in the assigned product area of expertise on the current issues, trends and opportunities in the industry Together with the relevant propositions team, instigate the creation of market, customer and competitor analysis to understand threats and opportunities

- Foster a culture of user research Work with capability leaders to engage senior stakeholders within existing and new clients, to understand their current issues and anticipated future problems

- Work with marketing and global capability colleagues to drive the creation of appropriate marketing and sales materials Communicate the product portfolio roadmap internally and externally

- Lead the setting and monitoring of appropriate metrics to evaluate product and portfolio success and ensure they are used to continuously improve the product and ways of working

- Create relevant business cases for change and new investment where applicable

- Collaborate with finance on product performance, tracking revenue and development costs to create a true product P&L Work collaboratively across functions to assist the sales cycle / process Ensure that all products in the portfolio adhere to any changes to legislation

- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of product management professionals Lead the implementation and building of best practices across the broader product management team
