As the bridge between brand building strategies, ideas and the creative expressions of those ideas, the Assistant Manager Production Orchestration plays an integral role in the Brand Experience organization at General Mills Working within the Meals and Baking Operating Unit as well as being the single BX Content Production point of contact across all our Canadian brands, you will help plan and steward the creative production process for communications work across all touchpoints in partnership with brand teams and internal and external agency partners From intake through deployment of final assets, youll oversee and guide work through production process using your experience and expertise to deliver communications assets on time and on budget Importantly, you will identify ways to maximize efficiencies in both planning and execution by working to ensure right work, right place and an appropriate match of talent to task Reporting to the Manager Creative Production, this role requires number of important skills including relationship building, influence, project management, communication and a rich understanding of how great creative work is produced


Oversee and steward communications-oriented production work Meals and Baking
Manage adaptation and transcreation production of coms assets for Canadian brands
Serve as key point of intake, connection and oversight for production work across
Operating Unit BX teams (Marcom);
Internal production capabilities (Sourcing, BX, MSO); and
External agency and production partners

Provide production subject matter expertise and strategic influence to deliver
Holistic planning to ensure the right communication assets are concepted and planned
Project management via production workflow, timelines and forward-looking pipeline
Creative excellence through partner engagement and guidance
Connectivity across the organization to leverage best practices and gain scale/efficiency

Support production activity across all communications channels and touchpoints
Drive speed and efficiency by planning and sequencing work holistically
Ensure right work, right place and right talent to task
Engage directly with partners to support and supplement brand teams when needed
Guarantee compliance with production playbook and existing production controls
Work with central production team to review estimates and provide financial tracking



5 Years Advertising or Creative Production Experience

Strong Relationship Building Skills

Project Management
Proactive Influence
Understanding Of How Great Creative Work Is Produced


Preferred Previous Agency/Production Roles Broadcast or Digital Producer, Art Buyer, Post-Production Manager, Integrated Producer, Senior Account Manager
Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Familiar with AICP and AICE Estimates
