Procurement Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager Singapore

Description As our new Procurement Assistant Manager / Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Procurement and be responsible for developing approaches and strategy for procuring for Singapore region, with the potential to grown Regionally This involves market research, developing procurement strategy, gathering supplier information from various sources, running the sourcing and procurement process, evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating and supplier selection You will also be involved in Contract negotiation and resolving contract issues This includes

Conducting market research to uncover valuable information as market context, demand- supply information, industry trends, major players in the industry, set benchmarks and maintain a database
Working closely with internal stakeholders and projects teams to understand the business needs
Develop procurement strategy to meets the project and business needs
Strategically source vendors and suppliers for projects
Manage sourcing activity, engaging in pre-qualification of suppliers, perform due diligence evaluate risk management and other checks before negotiating and awarding contracts
Managing strategic contracts, monitor and maintain supplier relationships across Singapore and potentially regionally
Manage procurement process, Manage spends, Manage supplier performance, Manage Supplier relationship and business goals
Monitor, analyse procurement portfolio, develop improvement plans
Share knowledge with cross functional teams

Requirements You are a Procurement professional with minimum 5 years of experience in the building construction industry
You have good analytical skills
You have relevant experience of working on corporate/ workplace interior fit-out projects
You have relevant experience in word processing tools, eProcurement system, software and information management systems as SAP to request, author, approve, store and analyze various contracts and procurement documents
You have a diploma/degree or experience in Materials Management/ Contract Management or a related discipline
You are tech-savvy, and have experience in successfully adopting digital and technology initiatives with good negotiating skills
You have the ability to work in a fast paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction
You have awareness of contractual clauses & material costing

You work well under pressure and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
