Process Overview*

Operational Excellence as a function is responsible to lead and execute change across the organization As a part of this, few core responsibilities function takes up are Metrics Management, Process Governance, Leading Change & Continual Improvement and Strategic Initiatives globally

(Assistant Vice President OPEX)

Individual will function in a change leadership role leading teams to drive operational excellence for Global Business Services Technology Team as well as leading transformational cross-functional initiatives across Global Business Services Role is focused on driving strategic change (process Improvement, business priorities) through several interventions aligned to the various businesses and delivery teams, both inside and outside the Global Business Services, including the build and management of the culture of continuous improvement through application of Process Excellence & Project Management methodologies Incumbent is also expected to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and execute priorities along with necessary governance and communication routines

Individual should have demonstrated an insightful ability to build strategy with successful deployment Incumbent will be responsible for end-2-end performance of the aligned processes In addition, due to ever changing environment, he/she should have demonstrated the core capability to continuously prioritize and re-evaluate strategic execution plans

Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

Regular connect with relevant stakeholders, across the hierarchies to ensure continuous and optimum alignment with changing business needs Includes discussion routines or reviews both for ideation as well as progress updates for specific initiatives, projects or focus areas
Promptly address any process issues and opportunities that need attention
Ability to timely identify and call out gaps along with plans to address them; help the business become audit ready and strong on performance fundamentals
Gain a Seat at the Table - ensure involvement in key initiatives of the aligned business segments and ability to influence as a trusted partner
Strategic Initiatives
Participate in strategic initiatives of the OPEX / business function basis skills and business need
Initiatives inclusive of (but not limited to) Business or Functional priorities
Global Business Services focus areas
OPEX themes for the calendar year
Leveraging industry-wide methodologies and best-practices
Team Management

Constantly energize and revitalize the teams, align vision and effort to business/ Global Business Services priorities, and continuously up-skill the teams to be able to drive the right and positive change
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of team and functional dynamics to marry skills and aspirations of team members
Focus on career progression and development of top talent and consistently work on bottom quartile performers
Operational Excellence and Continuous Process Improvement
Ensure adherence to all internal and business performance metrics with zero surprises
Ensure various functions / stakeholders of organization are kept informed for effective change management
Be an ambassador of OPEX and the culture of continuous improvement across lines and forums
Drive ideation and execution of ideas
Support & promote Innovation
Have the ability to question and focus on details in order to have deeper understanding and subject matter expertise on industry standards, best practices, trends and evolving ideas

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

Education University degree
Certifications Black Belt Certification from reputed institute
Certified Agile Scrum Master (Preferred)
Quality background (Six Sigma/ Lean / Kaizen) with implementation experience
Exp Range Prior experience of 5 years in mentoring PE (Process Excellence)/ GB / BB projects with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Change Management
Change Leadership Skills
Strong business acumen and ability to pick-up aligned functional domain
Ability to energize, motivate and guide high potential teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including conflict management and negotiation
Ability to map to leadership thought and translate into clear actionable for teams
Ability to flex/ stretch/ multi-task given time-critical business needs
Exposure of driving high impact initiatives in the enterprise domain in large/complex setup

Desired Skills

Experience in delivering Six Sigma and Lean trainings
Ability to covert a nebulous concept into a high impact initiative / ability to connect the dots and balance practical application with creative thought
Ability to converse in business language with business leaders / strong executive presence
Experience requirement 13 years of experience
Shift Timings Should be flexible and open to working in shifts
Process Timings 9 Hours per day Flexible in shifts with Weekends OFF ( Window 11 am-10 pm )
