What is the Print Production group responsible for

Print Production and Management (PPM) is responsible for the production and distribution of Franklin Templetons literature for both Marketing and Legal Compliance materials This consist of managing the end-to-end production - request for quote (RFQ), vendor coordination, inventory management, and invoice payment administration As a versatile department, PPM meets goals through continued exploration, implementation, and refinement of technology while proving first-class customer service and products

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Print Production Specialist

The Print Production Specialist role works under the general direction of the PPM Manager and is responsible for end-to-end production and coordination of tasks from project initiation, scheduling, print production, inventory management, mailing and invoice processing S/he as the primary contact for assigned teams ensuring highest quality and service levels to meet clients needs

Participate in project planning meetings
Balance assigned project schedules and workflows using scheduling tools and proprietary database
Manage project deliverables through feasibility, planning and execution on time, in scope, and within budget
Review project objectives, resolve design and timing issues with team members, and recommend next steps as necessary to improve and expedite workflow
Improve target metrics, improve cost efficiencies, and streamline interdepartmental workflow
Create RFQs using departments standard 3 bid processes
Post purchasing/inventory receipts and charge-backs and allocate invoices

What ideal qualifications would help someone to be successful

5 years in print purchasing and inventory management
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a financial services corporate environment or ad agency with emphasis in marketing operations, print production and inventory management
Project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with concurrent deadlines; demonstrated experience with project scheduling using Avanti Slingshot or similar tool
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc) and other MS Office applications
Solid accounting skills
Strong data entry skills
Ability to receive a large quantity of information and disseminate to the appropriate parties
