As a senior member of the Capco Design team you will bring creative excellence to solve complex business problems using design and help shape strategic end-to-end solutions, products and services that meet users and business needs We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly hardworking, creative individual who is able to work well under pressure in varying client environments and can deliver strategic, human-centred and innovative solutions

You are passionate about all things design, innovation and strategy and are dedicated and able to lead the design lifecycle from research through to product/service design and user testing Youll be required to work on everything from sketching ideas to running workshops with multiple stakeholders, so were looking for someone happy to get their hands dirty while always considering the big picture

Key Responsibilities

Delivery/Consulting

Own the strategic aspect of an engagement to provide a holistic, long-term design perspective and considerations
Lead designs teams and provide design oversight, inspiration, direction and QA to design team members
Operate effectively and confidently in complex and challenging environments and sometimes unfamiliar business domains
Manage senior client stakeholders and work with project managers and other relevant business owners
Inspire and energise clients throughout an engagement
Represent the Capco brand while working on client sites
Prepare and facilitate client workshops

Business Development

Identify and generate business opportunities to contribute to Capcos portfolio
Own or contribute to RFP process
Prepare project proposals (approach, plan, resourcing etc)
Pitch project proposals to clients

Training

Deliver design-related training material to colleagues and clients
Contribute to the creation of internal and external design-related training material

Capability Development

Work closely with the design practice lead to establish best practices and help steer the direction and growth of the design practice
Be involved in the recruitment process
Coach and mentor junior colleagues to help their career progression

Thought Leadership

Promote the Capco brand, and more specifically the design capability, externally by writing articles and presenting at events
Promote the design capability internally among all levels of the firm

Skills and Expertise

Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to inspire trust and confidence up to internal and external senior stakeholders
Excellent visual thinking skills with ability to sketch and bring to life concepts and research findings quickly
Excellent facilitation ability to engage and energise workshop participants
Deep passion for design with solid experience in UI/UX, Product and/or Service Design
Proficiency in applying the 5-step Design Thinking innovation framework to drive strategic problem solving (B2C and B2B) in large, complex organisations
Excellent ability to conceptualise and visualise high-level end-to-end scenarios and journeys
Collaborative team player that is happy to share ideas, give and solicit constructive feedback from other designers, support with additional work when required
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work under tight timelines
