The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and embody the drive and skill set necessary to hit the ground running as a business partner to multiple teams within Schneider Electric Process Automation US Hub The successful candidate will serve as the analytical thought leader for those teams and provide financial and operational analytic support Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to setting quarterly rolling forecasts, monthly/quarterly actuals vs forecast variances, ad hoc analysis, and longer term strategic planning The analyst will be expected to lead cross-functional projects; he/she will also be expected to interface regularly with the regional leadership team and to summarize and communicate findings to other senior management This role will report to the Hub Finance Director and will focus on developing and maintaining financial metrics and models that contribute to our success by providing relevant data and analysis to influence decision-making and performance across the companys operations

The roles key priorities include

Building and maintaining robust driver-based forecasting models

Building company/ industry knowledge and developing a strong understanding of relevant financial metrics

Lead the quarterly forecast process for the US Hub including coordinating with Sales, Operations, Delivery and other functional leaders

Working across the team to build reporting infrastructure, and helping develop new FP&A processes and analyses that add value for all stakeholders

Provide decision support including variance analysis, trends and key drivers and identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement

Prepare, analyze, and report monthly results compared to plan, forecasts and prior year for key functional leaders in support of managing their cost plans

Support Ad-hoc or Continuous Improvement projects

Qualifications

This job might be for you if

BS in Finance with MBA preferred

7 - 10 Years of experience in FP&A environment

Requires very strong financial analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills with an internal drive to solve problems

Advanced expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)

Prior experience using SAP, BI is a plus
