We are currently looking for our Principal Architect

In this position, you will balance technological opportunities with business requirements and maintain a holistic view of the organizations strategy, processes, information and IT assets

You are the guarantor of simplicity, agility and effectiveness of all IT products groups across the enterprise

You are responsible for driving reuse and sharing of technology and best practices to maximize value delivered to the business The Principal Architect is an owner of IT principles and standards and ensures the overall Enterprise Architecture (EA) and IT landscape are optimized to maximize business value while guaranteeing the required agility and speed to grow and innovate

Key responsibilities

Nestls IT landscape is highly centralized thus helping leverage the size of the group It includes one of the largest SAP eco systems in the world, state of the art consumer facing solutions including eCommerce and digital marketing, and a large footprint of cloud solutions including SaaS, PaaS and Iaas Within that area your role will be to

Lead identification and analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential effect on the enterprise and facilitate their testing with the Innovation team and the Product Managers

Provide inputs and expertise to the Office of the CIO and to Product Managers for budget definition and allocation of investments to meet business initiatives while optimizing the overall EA

Build the long-term strategic roadmap for all IT architecture, linked to the product groups, the information flows and the overall corporate objectives

Support the IT strategy and planning process to align continuously with the companys business goals and objectives

Integrate business and IT strategy into enterprise architecture roadmap

Work with IT colleagues to ensure they have the appropriate information and knowledge at hand to be successful in what they do and, in particular lead the Architect Community and support their professionalization

Support the design of the criteria for supplier evaluation, comparison and selection, and collaborate with sourcing for assessing vendor viability and risk in relation to target EA

Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to ensure that the translation of business requirements into technological solutions takes into account the current and target EA for optimal results for both business and IT

Analyze the technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the EA and lead the discussions relative to future technology (hardware, software, cloud) choices and architecture direction

Support the design and modeling of tactical architectures for delivery, development, and support of special projects such as mergers, acquisitions or divestitures

Coach and develop a team of Enterprise architects 5 direct report and a matrix organization with around 50 dotted line architects from the different streams

Required Profile

Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience

10 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as infrastructure or security management, application development, middleware, information analysis) in a multitier environment

Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex IT solutions, products and platforms

Deep knowledge and experience of SAP and non SAP architecture

Experience in the area of digital business and technologies

Experience communicating effectively at different levels in the organization in English

Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams

Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management

Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics

Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
