POSITION SUMMARY Practice Manager Cyber Security
The Cyber Security Practice Manager should be passionate about the field of cyber security and able to think strategically and operate tactically The Practice manager will provide the vision and thought leadership to develop a successful Cyber Security Practice The Individual will lead the customer engagement activities by advising business leaders and C-level Executives in a variety of businesses in all aspects of cyber risk and security
The ideal candidate will be well versed in all areas of cyber security management including security controls architecture, incident response preparedness and response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security event analytics and correlation The role is also to enable businesses functions to manage their cyber security risks
The individual will apply a comprehensive knowledge of information technology security principles, practices and procedures and responsible for maintaining an effective and efficient cyber security service delivery for internal/external enterprise customers across the organization This role will be responsible for coordinating new, complex projects that have multiple silo-dependencies and seeing them to completion The individual would also deliver the overall goals of the organization
Build and manage the Cyber Security Practice
Manage the business to meet financial goals and achieve targets
Provide pipeline and forecast updates
Participate in co-marketing activities, participate in security related organizations, do presentations at conferences, etc
Work with MFX clients to define and drive a multi-year cyber security framework including architecture and program
Ability to architect security solutions including cyber response automation, threat intelligence, user analytics, DLP, endpoint security tools, security infrastructure technologies, and application/software protections
Develop/define security advisory services including program/policy development, education and training programs, assessments, and response/forensic engagements
Provide market intelligence to the management staff and participate in the development of future solution strategies
Participate with OEM vendors and SE teams on product roadmaps and strategies
Strong verbal and written communication is a must to be able to deliver complex topics to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to lead multiple project teams; give directions and ensure that tasks are executed consistently
Knowledge of applicable industry standards, leading security practices and regulatory requirements
Establish and leverage external relationships to obtain cyber and InfoSec threats with context for how it impacts MFX and its clients to maintain availability, integrity or confidentiality of our systems and data
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced security analysts
Management Responsibilities
Guide, coach, direct, and develop the managers and consultants in pursuit of professional development goals
Assures appropriate collaboration with the Leadership team, Directors and Managers of internal Practice and other Service Lines
Play an active role in the Delivery team, helping to shape MFXs business strategy and ensuring that both the needs and learnings of the Cyber Security Services agenda are adequately represented in all forums
Supports strategic partnership execution
Prioritizes management over delivery
Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedure
Knowledge and Skills
10 years of experience with cyber security issue management, techniques, and process integration preferably within an enterprise organization
7 years of experience with security architecture and engineering of network, infrastructure, and cloud technology, preferably in multi-tenant environments
Must be well versed with cyber security management including security controls architecture, incident response preparedness and response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security event analytics and correlation
Experience with penetration testing tools and techniques
Experience with leading and advising clients on security to include risk, governance, technology, regulatory drivers and IT security and frameworks such as SOX, PCI DSS, NIST, ISO, ITIL standards
Understanding of security audit standards
Understand and articulate market trends and ability to understand the competitive landscape
Demonstrated experience in building and managing a practice
Demonstrated ability to work with and communicate with other team members
Good team working skills and ability to work in a distributed global team environment
Self-motivated, proactive and with determination to achieve goals
Proven business skills including effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, project management, and self-motivation
Minimum one or more Information Security related certifications like CISSP,CISA, CISM, CEH, CSSLP, SSCP, CCSP, CCSA, OCSP, CHFE, LPT etc
Education and Academia
Undergraduate degree (BE, BTech, MCA) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
