POS Sales Executive

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Oracle Food and Beverage team selling our Point of Sale (POS) Products We are looking for experienced sales representatives to target medium to large sized restaurant groups working within an assigned target list and/or market segment Youll be tasked with achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration by effectively selling Oracle Food and Beverage POS products and services

You will qualify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry Developing and maintaining relationships with such prospects will be an integral part of the sales process and an expectation of the position Youll be representing the company at outside events, as well, such as trade shows, conferences, and association meetings Youll need to understand and be able to articulate the value of innovation and adopting leading edge technologies and services to your customer base The job will entail preparing detailed proposals that include hardware, software, and services in order to meet or exceed monthly/yearly sales and revenue objectives outlined within our forecasting tools Part of the job will be understanding your competition through monitoring and evaluate the activities and products they sell Youll have the opportunity to work with our System Engineers and Directors to understand the complexities of the products and to implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficient with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Experience selling business applications software to hospitality industry

Record of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas

Skill at identifying stakeholder and decision-makers and building strong relationships with all levels of customers from owners to executive management

Operational experience in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred

Strong consultative selling, listening, and writing skills Ability to understand client needs and demonstrate the impact & value/ROI of products and services

Comprehensive knowledge of how products and services can positively impact organizations operations

Ability to provide dynamic product demonstrations

Ability to learn technical aspects of the products Relationship-building skills Capable of building and perpetuating profitable business partnerships and relationships, which promote long-term success

Working knowledge of customer relationship management systems; spreadsheet software and word processing software

Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and have the ability and desire to travel 20-50 PERCENT of the time, with occasional out of town travel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment May have project lead role 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills Successful sales track record Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors Interaction with C level players Team player Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Presentation skills Travel may be needed Bachelor degree or equivalent
