Job Description:

NFR team is responsible for management, monitoring and reporting of reports across different functions for various Regions and Global Businesses, including contributing towards the development and implementation of a best practice operational risk framework
Effective management of Non-financial risks requires diverse information from a variety of sources, for example, risk reports, risk and control profiles, operational risk incidents, key risk indicators, risk heat maps, and rules and definitions for regulatory capital and economic capital reporting Executive-level dashboard and reports provide visibility into the risk analysis, highlighting key risk metrics and policy compliance Business process automation capabilities provide for real-time event escalation, automated risk processes and streamlined remediation of issues and action items Our suite of Governance, Management and Core Reports and Extracts have been designed to provide essential risk management information and meet a range of reporting requirements
The Information management team is responsible for collaboratively working with Business as the first point of contact for the Data/Infrastructure requirements to facilitate drive all the Analytics, Risk and Marketing/Finance strategies The work would primarily involve the usage of data to build/enhance data warehouse/data marts, process and create summary data layers and finally help publish different metrics for business effectiveness and control
The role will require in-depth business knowledge across a breadth of functional areas and business units Set up processes to ensure documentation of results and follow sustainable, robust documentation practices in the team Act as Functional Subject matter expert (SME) and independently lead small to medium sized projects and have responsibility on work allocation and deliverables assigned to Analysts and AMs
Develop presentations that are Business Ready, to showcase the work done by the team, with appropriate story-telling and insightful interpretation of information Enable and coach the team as well to develop such skills The incumbent would be required to take lead on projects assigned to him / her and the team from various group entities and business geographies, as required
The role will require the incumbent to plan and execute the assigned projects/ analysis as per the agreed timelines and deliver with accuracy and quality Supporting Adhoc analytical needs of the process on an on-going basis is also expected from the incumbent
This position does not involve direct people management responsibility However, as a project manager, the incumbent is expected to provide functional guidance to the team of Analysts / Assistant Managers across geographies

Skills / Experience

Bachelors or Masters degree from reputed university with specialization in numerical discipline and concentration in computer science, information systems or other engineering specializations
5 to 8 years of experience in a multinational company in a management reporting and analysis role
Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is advantageous
Strong Knowledge of programming tools, preferably with proficiency in any one or combination of tools such as SQL, Cognos, Excel VBA, Data Warehouse, R, Python, Oracle, across any of the platforms UNIX, mainframe or Windows
Excel/VBA Scripting and Automation of 20 Portfolio Reports, selecting data from multiple Risk source systems and formatting them for BA to provide commentary / inisght
Advanced-level ability expected in all MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, VBA)
Good understanding of reporting tools, can, with some direction, work independently to assist larger initiative
Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework
Written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas
Ability to work in cross-functional teams Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success
Attention to detail a must with focus on executive quality presentation
